A.J.K. Mass Communication Research Centre Scholarships and Funding
Under this scholarship gross fee charged by JMI will be reimbursed to the student subject to the maximum limit of Rs. 10,000 per student per annum.
Eligibility :
i. The Scholarships are open to citizens of India;
ii. Candidates must be bonafide student of Jamia Millia Islamia’s Undergraduate/ Postgraduate regular course and bearing good conduct;
iii. Applicant must have at least 75% of attendance;
iv. Candidates must have passed either class XII examination OR Undergraduate degree to be eligible for the scholarship;
v. Candidates must be from economically weaker section whose income should not be more than Rs.2.0 Lakhs (Rs. Two Lakhs only) per annum;
vi. 50% of the scholarship will be reserved for female students of Jamia Millia Islamia;
vii. The students, who have been awarded Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Scholarship by the University, are entitled to receive stipend or any financial assistance from any other source. However, if the student is awarded any stipend or financial
assistance from any other source, he/she shall immediately communicate the same to Dean, Students’ Welfare (DSW).
viii. No student shall be allowed to avail more than one scholarship from Jamia.
Female students will be given preference and at least 50% of the total number of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Scholarship will be available for female students
This scheme will not be available for students of self-finance courses

Placements: I got 75% in college. The highest package offered is 4 LPA. The recruiting companies are Hamdard and New Sharma. Maybe 10% of students are getting placed. Management will give you the knowledge of your course by providing an internship of 6 months, where you can learn how to work and what a job is. All the things are very good.
Placements: Placement at Jamia Millia Islamia is very good. At least 90% of students are placed in my course last year. The highest salary package I know of was 85 LPA, and the average salary package was around 10 LPA - 15 LPA. Mostly, HCL and Infosys visit Jamia Millia Islamia for recruitment.
Placements: Students become eligible for placements from their third semester, and companies start visiting our campus by that time. Companies such as Viacom, Adfactor, Shareit, etc., visit the college. The highest salary package offered is from Viacom, which is 5.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Almost 40% of students get placed through our college, but the name of the college helps in getting off-campus job offers as well.
Placements: The placements are a matter of question for the students that get enrolled into this flagship course of AJK Mass Communication Research Center, JMI. Seniors have contradicting answers to the same. While some say MCRC will equip you well with the skills necessary to get good earnings, some say it's important to focus on the process and build a portfolio, needing not to worry about job hunts as one gets placed here.
Placements: Around 60-65% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 1 LPA, and the lowest salary offered was Rs 15,000. The average salary package offered is Rs 40,000. The top recruiting company was the UK. Around 60-65% of students get internships from our course, and all private hospitals, academic, and clinical fields were provided.
Placements: Our batch got 100% placements. MA mass communication is a very relevant course, and it has priority in placements. We had mandatory internships during the course, which helped to find good jobs. This course is very helpful to work in any work field.
