OR Candidates who have passed Diploma in any Engineering Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal, or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education shall be eligible. OR Candidates who have passed 2 years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal shall be eligible. Perference will given in following manner:- 1. JEE (Main) Rank merit 2. 3-Year Diploma merit after exhausting JEE (Main) Rank Candidates 3. 2 Year Certificate Course of SLIET merit after exhausting above Diploma Merit 4. 10+2 Merit after exhausting JEE (Main) Rank & Diploma Candidates |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidates must have passed B.E./ B. Tech. in Electrical/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Applied Electronics/ Instrumentations & Control/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with atleast 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) marks in aggregate. In case seats haven't been filled under respective categories, admission shall be considered on the basis of Inter-se-merit in the qualifying examination. OR AMIE/ AMIETE/ AMACSE graduates including graduates from other Govt. recognized professional bodies equivalent to AMIE with 55% or above marks in their exams in such body shall be eligible with the condition that the branch adopted at graduation level must be same as the specialization applied for. All those students who were enrolled with various Profession Bodies/Institutions, which were duly recognized by MHRD with permanent recognition upto 31/05/2013, stand recognized. A valid GATE Score would be preferred but not mandatory for admission. |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidates must have passed Bachelors Degree of minimum three year duration in any discipline from the University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). An old college campus with a great infrastructure.
Placements: The placements play an important role in the college's image or popularity. If I talk about my college in the sense of placement. First six sem of B.Tech have the pressure of placement. After that, they start guiding about how to face interviews in different companies. Practising of objective questions which are important in placement. In the last semester, there are approximately 25 companies come for placement purpose for all branches like as smart wiz technologies, A2IT Mohali, Netsterz, Infotech, etc.
Infrastructure: Good range of Wi-Fi all over the campus, sports, games and a big library where one can easily concentrate on studies. A big ground for sports held on each sem like Scientilla, techfest. Annual sports meeting are held in this college. If I talk about classrooms and labs, there are a large number of classes for B.Tech. Diploma. MBA. M.Tech. Also, good lab facility for all departments. There is a separate boys and girls hostel in the college campus. All are good, and they do their job perfectly. The mess is also an advantage for the hostel students. Environment is also a advantage.
Faculty: If I mention about the teachers, they are really very helpful. They always guide their students the right track. It is obvious that after college everyone wants to be placed with a good company so that in the last sem of B.Tech or any other course, it is the first priority to crack interview of a good company. So, in this sense its really an advantage for students.

Overall Good experience here need to improve placement services
Placements: Only a few companies visit here for the placements. Even these are only for show off as they were offering Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 10,000 to the graduates. This college should bring some good companies for a better future for their students. The biggest part of college is to place their students in good companies.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure of the college is good. The classrooms are good, but the boards are outdated because nowadays, the schools have better boards. The Wi-Fi facility is available with good connectivity and speed. The labs are well-equipped. The bathrooms are not up to the mark. The water facilities are good. Tech fests are arranged every year and the sports meet is organised as well.
Faculty: Talking about the faculty members, I want to say that all of them are doing a great job. They understand every student's strength as well as the weaknesses. The practical knowledge is also given with the theoretical knowledge. Every trade is divided into two to three sections, and each section contains 60-70 students.

Excellent infrastructure, good facilities and faculty
Placements: The college assures good placements in Punjab and the states bordering Punjab. Nearly 60% students were placed. The highest salary is 60 thousand, the lowest seems to be 15000 and the average is 20000. Almost all get the internship from the college. The stipend is approximately 2 thousand.
Infrastructure: The quality of labs and classrooms is standard. All medical facilities, sports activities, maintained labs and libraries are on the campus. The food and the hostel are like the home environment. None of the issues disturbs any student. Wi-Fi facilities are in almost all the areas of the campus including classrooms, hostels, the library and the canteen.
Faculty: The faculty team of the college is very helpful indeed, well educated, qualified. They taught us using demos. Every year, students got a chance to visit the industry. The course curriculum is always useful to us in regards to the knowledge provided to the students.

Other: Adesh College has no qualified staff. Some teachers doesn’t have knowledge. If we ask any question teachers, then they could not explain properly. Most of the teachers who are teaching at Adesh College are alumni of Adesh only.
I am studying in 7th semester. During all my pervious semesters teachers never complete their syllabus on time. We had to study our own.

Other: Classes are interactive in nature and are a healthy mix of formal lectures, case studies and presentations. An equal weightage of 50% is given to both internal and external exams. Tests are conducted on a regular basis which can be both, planned as well as surprise in nature. Although surprise tests are not very common but students try and stay as up-to-date as possible in subjects such as Finance and Economics where you won't know when your knowledge is put to test. Students are not given any handouts as such but most of the teachers share their presentations with them.
