- The candidate must have passed in each of the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, & Biology & obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects at the qualifying examination.
- For SC/ST candidates, the marks prescribed shall be 10% less than that prescribed for the general category (i.e., 40%).
- The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission, with an upper age limit of 22 years for all candidates & 25 years in respect of SC & ST candidates & 27 years for Physically Challenged candidates.

If the admitted candidate cancels his/her seat before the closure of admissions for the Academic Year 2021-22, an amount of Rs. 1,000/- shall be collected as processing fee. The remaining fees already paid during admission shall be refunded. If the admitted candidate cancels his/her seat after closure of admissions process for the AY 2021-22, the candidate forfeits the fees already paid and in addition, he/she has to pay an amount of Rs. 1,000/- towards processing fee.
