No, ATMA is not compulsory for taking admission in the MBA/PGDM Hospitality Management course in Ahmedabad Institute of Hospitality Management. The institute accepts other national level exams as well like CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT and its own entrance exam called the AIHM Entrance Test. Though giving the ATMA exam is not a compulsion, the institute does accept it's score.

Once that is successfully done the candidates have to appear for the group discussion and personal interview round. The forms can sometimes get rejected as well if wrong information or documents are attached. Hence, it should be ensured that the details are filled correctly.

No, direct admission is not offered at Ahmedabad Institute of Hospitality Management. The admissions are entrance-based and candidates need to appear for either of the exams that are accepted by the institute. These include CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT or other common entrance examinations (if any) conducted by the respective state, however if the candidate have not appeared in any of these then it is mandatory to give the AIHM entrance exam or AEE to apply for admission.

Work experience and extracurricular achievements are also considered at given a certain amount of weightage. The PI and GD round holds the, most weightage in the score.
