AIIMS Delhi PG Diploma Courses & Fees 2026

AIIMS Delhi offers admission for UG, PG, Doctoral and Super Speciality courses such as BSc, MSc, MD, MDS, MS, and PhD, among others. Admission to any of the course is conducted based on entrance. Therefore, candidates must  prepare for the accepted entrance exams such as NEET UG, AIIMS Paramedical Entrance Exam, INICET, Joint CSIR-UGC NET for JRF/ ICMR - JRF/ ICMR- SRF/ DBT - JRF/ NBHM screening test/ INSPIRE fellowship. 

The accepted entrance exams may vary as per the choice of course opted for. Candidates must analyse the cutoffs to learn more about the probability of qualifying for AIIMS Delhi and securing a seat. Although, every admission year is more challenging than the previous one, candidates can still make it by putting in some efforts and work on those grades.

The answer will be both yes and no. Getting into AIIMS Delhi without NEET is possible if applying for courses such as BSc, MSc, PB BSc Nursing, MD, MS, DM and MCh, among various others, apart from MBBS. Admission to all these courses is either subject to an institute-specific entrance exam or INICET.

However, if the ultimate objective is to crack AIIMS New Delhi for MBBS, a student has to go through the NEET UG entrance exam followed by the counselling process. If the ranking and score obtained in the exam match with the minimum requirement of the institution, the student will get admission here for MBBS, otherwise not. 

AIIMS Delhi paramedical cutoff 2024 was concluded for a few UG courses. These courses include B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology, B.Sc. in Dental Operating Room Assistant, Bachelor of Optometry (BOPTM) and Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imagine Technology (MRIT). The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks were closed at a range of 132 and 856. For the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks were between 150 and 1108. For the EWS AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks were between 62 and 1158.

Being a government institute, AIIMS Delhi is one of the cheapest institutes for education in the field of Medicine in India. The total tuition fee for all the courses, as available is tabulated below. However, since this total tuition fee is sourced from unofficial sources. It is indicative.

AIIMS Delhi offers UG, PG, Doctoral and Super Speciality courses across the fields of Medicine, Nursing, Medical, and others. The Institute offers MBBS as its flagship course. Moreover, the courses' tuition fees at AIIMS Delhi vary from INR 400 to INR 6.08 K. Being a government held institute, AIIMS Delhi offers academia at the most nominal prices. 

The AIIMS Delhi Paramedical cutoff 2024 for the BSc courses at the undergraduate level has been released for last round. The AIIMS Delhi cutoff 2024 is ranged between 132 to 856 for General AI students. According to AIIMS Delhi BSc cutoff 2024, The most competitive course for the General AI category is Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imagine Technology (MRIT) with the last round cutoff of 132. Similarly, for the OBC category, the most competitive course is again Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imagine Technology (MRIT) with a Last Round cutoff of 150. Since you haven't mentioned your category, we would consider you to belong to the General Category. You should aim for a NEET UG cutoff rank under 50 to get AIIMS New Delhi. Looking at the last three years' cutoff, AIIMS Delhi NEET cutoff 2025 for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) closed at 48, while in 2024, it closed at 47 and 57 in 2023 for the General AI category students. 

Candidates willing to get admission to various courses at AIIMS Delhi must first register for the accepted entrance exams. Candidates also have to appear for the counselling process after taking the entrance exams. For MBBS, AIIMS Delhi grants admissions through the MCC NEET Counselling.

AIIMS Delhi is considered one of the top collegea across the country. The college receieved rank 1 in Medicine and Health Sciences, as per the NIRF ranking. According to the information gathered by different sources on the internet, the marks that are necessary to obtain admission to AIIMS Delhi in the General category is between 675 and in case you are a member of the reserved category, you need at least 650 marks. AIIMS Delhi offers MD and MS specialisations for the candidates seeking to get admission. As per the INICET Round 3 seat allotment round for January session, the required rank to get into AIIMS Delhi stood between 1 and 15262 for the General AI category, considering the AIIMS Delhi INICET cutoff 2025. Among all the MD and MS specialisations, the most demanded specialisation was Discontinued (Nov 2022)- MDS in Prosthodontics. AIIMS Delhi attracts top healthcare, hospital, and medical technology firms for placements with median packages for UG courses around  INR 12.50 LPA and INR 16 LPA. Median package offered during AIIMS Delhi PG 1 year and PG 2 year placements 2024 stood at INR 20 LPA and INR 17 LPA. The highest median package recorded was for PG 3 year and PG 6 year which was INR 34 LPA.

The UG and PG students who get hostel at AIIMS Delhi campus are required to submit hostel fee from along with the tuition fee, every semester. For Junior residents, however, the hostel fee is deducted from salary. In addition to this, a hostel security deposit fee of INR 1,000 at the time of joining/ application. If a candidate belongs to the General Category, he/she should aim for at least 700+, and in the case of a reserved category, a candidate should aim for at least 675+. This is with regard to marks. In case the candidate wishes to know the same percentile-wise, he/she must score above 99 percentile to secure admission to AIIMS Delhi. Until 2020, students with 650+ score were able to get admission to MBBS at AIIMS Delhi, but the competition has been rising every year.
