April 10, 2025: Rishitha G., MBA Class of 2024–2026, has won a Bronze Medal in the Duo Event (Ganda) at the 37th National Games (2023-24). She has also received a cash prize of a whopping INR 2,00,000. Rishitha’s journey is an example of passion, discipline and true grit. February 24, 2024: The AIMS School of Commerce and Finance successfully conducted a Resume Building Workshop for first and second-year B.Com students on 18th February 2025. The session was led by Mr. Santosh Kumar, Director – Corporate & Public Relations, AIMS Institutes. During the workshop, Mr. Santosh Kumar emphasized the importance of a polished and professional resume, aligning it with corporate requirements and employer expectations. He shared practical strategies for tailoring resumes to different roles and industries, along with key mistakes to avoid. The interactive session encouraged active participation, enabling students to ask questions and gain hands-on experience in resume building.

September 25, 2024: The Onam celebrations at AIMS Institutes on September 11th, 2024, was a grand success, bringing together the entire institution in a vibrant and memorable cultural celebration. With the theme "Where Tradition Meets Togetherness," the event truly captured the essence of Onam, Kerala's most iconic festival, and highlighted the unity in diversity that is at the heart of AIMS Institutes. The celebrations commenced with a lively Chendamelam procession, where the rhythmic beats of traditional Kerala drums set the tone for the day’s festivities. Students and faculty, dressed in traditional Kerala attire, joined the procession, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and cultural pride. The striking colors of white, gold, and saffron, seen in the kasavu saris and mundus, made the entire campus come alive.
A highlight of the day was the Best-Dressed Male and Female competition for both students and faculty members. The excitement and fun surrounding the selection of winners added an extra layer of joy to the celebrations. The participants, dressed in their traditional best, embraced the cultural significance of the occasion, and the judging process was filled with laughter and enthusiasm. The vibrant display of traditional attire brought out a deep sense of pride in Kerala's rich cultural heritage, while also fostering friendly competition. Adding to the festive spirit, payasam-a beloved dessert in Kerala’s cuisine-along with sweets and savory items, were distributed to everyone. This simple gesture of sharing sweets with the entire AIMS community symbolized the togetherness and joy that Onam stands for.This brought a sweet conclusion to the day’s events and ensured that everyone left with a smile.
Reflecting on the day, it was clear that the Onam celebrations at AIMS were more than just a festival—they were a celebration of the institution’s diversity and the rich cultural heritage that each member brings to the community. AIMS Participates in The Sustainable Hospitality Challenge
June 22, 2023: The Hotelschool The Hague, which is ranked 9th Best in the QS World Rankings for Hospitality education, launched the Sustainable Hospitality Challenge. Enhancing the development of sustainable hospitality is the goal of the Sustainable Hospitality Challenge. For the past seven years, SHC has been a platform for challenging cutting-edge concepts in hospitality. Today, SHC is a global knowledge-based effort. AIMS Institutes is proud to announce that it is the only team from India shortlisted for the semi-finals in the 2023 edition which will be held in Amsterdam on 21 & 22 June 2023. Three of our students - Abhay R Thalanki from AIMS School of Business, Hari Krishna Denkala & Louis Kumar Sudeep from AIMS School of Hospitality and Tourism will be representing AIMS Institutes in the event. The theme for the competition is ONE WITH NATURE.
Up until this year, the Sustainable Hospitality Challenge exclusively allowed student teams from the best worldwide hotel schools to address real-world cases. Their invitation has been extended to the best design, architecture, and engineering schools worldwide as of this year. For the purpose of developing the winning proposal for the 2023 Sustainable Hospitality Challenge, teams will have the chance to collaborate more effectively across these crucial disciplines. Participants from AIMS Institutes had the chance to present their strategy for solving the issue to a distinguished jury made up of A-level CEOs and Vice Presidents from the hospitality, design, architectural, and engineering industries. Sustainability emerged as the challenge's overarching subject. It has acquired momentum to help and advance the growth of sustainability in the hospitality industry.
January 30, 2023: An MOU was signed between AIMS Institutes in Bengaluru and Navis Group in Japan in the presence of Mr. Katsumasa Mauro, the Honourable Consul General of Japan in Bangalore, who was instrumental in this endeavour.
The MOU would give qualified students from AIMS Institutes a platform to find employment in various Japanese companies, particularly in the hotel and aviation management sectors. The chosen AIMS graduates will receive Japanese language and survival training from Navis. The students of AIMS Institutes have a fantastic opportunity to launch their professional careers on a global scale.
Given the already strong ties between India and Japan, AIMS Institutes and Navis feel honoured to support the development of those ties through this MOU, which will allow for the exchange of best practises as well as resources and knowledge.
The agreement with Navis will give further impetus to the ongoing efforts at AIMS Institutes to provide students with international placement opportunities in addition to domestic ones. Shimane University, in Japan, and AIMS Institutes have an active and engaging MOU for student and faculty exchanges.
AIMS Institute is Organising Round Table Conference on “Developing Coffee as a Culture”
January 29, 2020: AIMS Institutes, is organising a round table conference on “The Scope of Developing Coffee as a Culture for the Growth of Tourism and Hospitality in India”. The invitation have been rolled out to chefs, operations managers, professionals from microbreweries, members of coffee board, coffee planters, tourism department members, professionals from the beverage industry, researchers and all stake holders of the tourism and hospitality industry. The conference aims at discovering opportunities to grow coffee as a social lubricant to improve tourism and hospitality capacity in India. Also, there will be discussions about and its use as a social stimulant to create a Culture.
AIMS Institute announces the dates of Hospitality Week, 2020
January 15, 2020: AIMS Institutes, School of Hospitality and Tourism is organising an international level event, Hospitality Week 2020. The event will serve as a platform for industry professionals, hospitality experts, educators, food bloggers and critics where they can come under one umbrella to meet, share, connect, compete, exhibit and learn about the evolving changes in hospitality sector. The culinary department in Hospitality sector has experienced some of the biggest sustainability related innovation in last decade in context to ingredients, preparing methods, presentation and in-house plantations. Professional chefs who have excelled in their domain in terms of technique and art of cooking will be able to showcase their offering through this medium. This event is expected to facilitate students access to network community of professionals.
School participates in AIMS National Management Week from August 1-7, 2019
August 31, 2019: AIMS Institutes, organises seven day-long Annual National Management Week every year. This year, the event witnessed active participation of different schools across country, including AIMS School of Business. The 31st annual management education convention was themed on “Management Education 4.0- Strategies for Global Competitiveness”. This 4.0 version of the event focused on four broad themes Diversity and Inclusion, Climate Change and Water Conservation, Service Beyond Self and Koushal Vikas.
There were bundle of activities planned for the complete week. Among all the participants, six college were able to make it to the final presentation. The event proved to be a great learning experience for all the participants.

No, you cannot use the CAT exam result for direct admission to the MBA/PGDM course at AIMS Institutes, Bangalore.
