Christian Medical College Vellore is ranked three by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2024 under the Medical Colleges category. Whereas AIIMS Delhi was ranked one by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2023 under the Medical Colleges category. Both colleges have good faculty, infrastructure, and practical exposure. Ultimately which is the best depends on a particular student on what he/she is looking for in a college or a university.

There are no management category seats available at AIIMS campuses. AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam has been permanently scrapped as an entrance exam.
