The Alpine Institute of Technology (AIT) is located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, and was established in 2007. It is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, which is affiliated with the AICTE in New Delhi. Candidates for the M.Tech programme must have a B.E. /B.Tech or its equivalent degree in a relevant branch of engineering with a minimum of 50% (45% in the case of reserved categories) from an AICTE/UGC-approved institute. They must have a valid score in GATE and further apply for DTE Madhya Pradesh for M.Tech Counselling. The course costs 120,000 INR.
18 seats are available for M.Tech students in computer Science and engineering. Counseling through GATE is required for those students who are willing to apply for a master's or Ph.D. programme.
