B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and Physics - Batch of 2025
3.6

Supportive, friendly, and well-qualified faculty with excellent facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: The course only began in 2020. Since it is new, the placement and internship offers are likely low because Physics and Mathematics involve deep concepts, interns with PG and above backgrounds are usually selected for nearly all institutes. However, there is now a Techpark, Talrop, which will be a great opportunity for all students.
Infrastructure: The college is NAAC A+ accredited, and the infrastructure is really good. We have a digitalized Physics lab (the first one in Kerala). Everything—the classes, labs, and library—is good. There are also Wi-Fi facilities. The ladies' hostel spans two floors (G, 1, 2) and provides all kinds of amenities at affordable rates. The hostel offers study tables, B.Ed and other necessary furniture, along with water and Wi-Fi facilities. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are super supportive and among the best. They are qualified and teach effectively. The department is student-centric, making it very comfortable to learn. The course is certainly curriculum-relevant, covering two important scientific disciplines—Physics and Mathematics—along with relevant papers each semester. By completing the course, students gain a solid foundation in the complex concepts of Physics and Mathematics, aiding their higher studies. The semester exams are not too difficult, and almost everyone passes. The pass percentage is at least 90%.
Other: I want to be an astrophysicist. For an astrophysicist, it is important to have a deep knowledge of both Physics and Mathematics. Since this course has a dual core in Maths and Physics, it was the perfect choice for me. The seats are limited to 30. During my time, there was no lab assistant, but the management is taking action on that. The college conducts numerous events such as arts, sports, and special occasions, and there is also an International Conference named Amalit. Additionally, there is a sports department with significant achievements.

The college infrastructure is developing nowadays.
Placements: I am a B.Sc. computer science student pursuing it in the 2020–2023 batch. The course is funded, so there is no need to pay fees each semester. We interned with the ICT Academy of Kerala.
14 students from my class got selected by the Renova Innovations IT company.
About 21% of students from the department of bachelor of tourism and hotel management during the last 3 years have participated in the world's top festival, the FIFA World Cup 2022, held in Qatar, as volunteers. They are doing internships in different hotels in Kerala.
Also, students from the department of computer science got placed in a startup IT company near Nilambur.
Infrastructure: There is a well-structured computer lab, including 100+ desktop systems for the CS department itself. Wi-Fi is there for each department.
The library has been redeveloped in recent months.
There are separate boys' and girls' hostels coming on campus.
So the new academic year must be a satisfying one, surely.
Faculty: There are permanent teachers in each department, including Ph.D. faculty members.
The college is affiliated with the University of Connecticut. Exams are held under the university's controller of examinations.
Semester exams are averagely tough.
The percentage of passed students varies depending on the subject.
Other: I am interested in software development.
So I chose this course. All central and Kerala government scholarships are provided. Events are organised by the college union.

The college is very good.
Placements: Nobody is placed after my course. There are many companies that came for recruitment, especially abroad companies from countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc. The management is continuously working to get placements for students and invites companies to campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The course provides a wide range of modern facilities designed to enhance the learning experience and meet the diverse needs of students. One of the standout facilities is the availability of high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the campus. Another significant facility is the computer labs.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers in the course are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, ensuring a productive learning environment. The curriculum is industry-relevant, equipping students with skills to meet professional standards. Semester exams are moderately challenging.
Other: I chose the course because of my friends. There are many events in college.

It's a good college with all facilities.
Placements: There are placement cells to help students gain part time job. I haven taken up any Job from the college placement cell yet. But as far as I have heard, it's pretty good. Neuropsychologist, forensic psychology is the best role in my course. Every student can choose psychology.
Infrastructure: The college provides better education. All the teachers take M.Phil. They provide best library and lab. They are best in everything. The college has a develop center. And there is no hostel. There is canteen, store, gym, library and sports office. Hostel is coming in next year. The building work will finish in next year.
Faculty:
They managed to solve any problem in their way to impart their knowledge. Teacher give their best in sharing their knowledge. They aim to bring out best in us. The teaching quality was excellent. The exam was simple. If you are interested to study psychology, you will pass the exam with the highest score.
