It has a good campus with an environment, highly qualified teachers, and enthusiastic students.
Placements: In our college, ASAS Kochi, more than 100 students were getting placed each year from each department. In our course, there were 40 students, and out of 40, 16 students were placed with good companies. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA to 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA, depending on the recruiting company. Top recruiting companies in our colleges were Accenture, Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services, TIPS, Wipro, and other international and national level companies that visited our campus. Top roles offered were content writer, associate, teacher, academic counselor, copywriter, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on our campus was so well-equipped as there was a Wi-Fi connection and drinking water facilities, with cold and hot water available in every block. Labs were well and tidy, with modern equipment. We had a huge library with more than 100000 books available. The department was very good and in the modern block, there was also a lift facility available. Classrooms were modern, with good chairs and desks, and had monitors and cameras. I was a day scholar so I didn't get the opportunity to stay in the hostel. The college hostel is so strict so it's better to find a PG near your college. Our canteen facilities were available with good food, most of which were vegetarian food items. The college had active members in sports and games.
Faculty: Our teachers were supportive and very qualified. Most of them had doctorate degrees. They guided students throughout their journey and were so helpful. The course curriculum was comparatively higher and more standard than that of any other university in Kerala. We could easily cope with the curriculum, which was not so stressed as other universities' curriculum, and could easily understand it and prepare for the exams, so we didn't get supplies or arrears from this university. That was how they framed their curriculum. Semester exams were conducted very well, and we could score more than 80% in each subject if we followed what they taught in classrooms. There were no questions from the syllabus, and the evaluation methods were liberal.
Other: I chose this M.A. course because I wanted to become a teacher and a public speaker. If we worked hard, we could easily get placed at this university and campus recruitment takes place every year. Events were quite good but not as enjoyable as Kollam Amritapuri. They were the best campus for celebrating each event to the fullest. Our campus was not so crowded and Wi-Fi was available, but we couldn't use phones in the classrooms as they were strictly prohibited. Sometimes, teachers would scold us for taking photos in classrooms. The college surroundings were so rich with green plants and big trees, and there was also one temple on campus. Scholarships were available for students who scored above 80% in their previous degrees, and many extracurricular activities were there for those who wanted to participate.
