Review of Aurora's Engineering College.
Placements: The placement cell is pathetic. I do have proper information regarding placements. There is no chance of on-campus placements. Even CSE students were getting called for BPO job interviews.
Infrastructure: The huge relief was the college shifting from Bhongir to Hyderabad, which would cut off the long journey. Many students used to travel from Hyderabad to Bhongir, which is nearly 50 kilometres far from the city. Students had to start very early and reach late to home due to a long journey.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very much good. The only thing that demotivated them was improper salary payment. Faculty members used to go on strike due to salaries, and classes used to get suspended. But faculty members went up to their best to teach.
Other: Overall, I have an average experience here.

In the college we have experienced faculty with good placements and average infrastructure
Placements: 20 percent of students were placed in my course. 3LPA is the highest salary and 2 LPA is the lowest salary offered. Amazon, IBM, Genpact, Airtel, Sutherland are top recruiting companies for my course. Consumer relations officer is the role offered.
2.8 LPA is the highest and 2.2 is the lowest salary offered in my computer Science. 10 percent of them got internships from Q-spiders.
Infrastructure: As my college is shifted from bhongir to ramkoti, Infrastructure can be described as average with required classrooms, labs and library. There is no hostel in our college and there are many private hostels nearby. Canteen work is still going on as college is shifted here recently and it will all be done by next sem.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are mostly helpful in choosing our career path. Teaching quality is good with few experienced teachers. The course is curriculum relevant with knowledge required for making students industry ready.
Other: As next generation is completely based on technology I choose this course to have secure future and I also want to be a one of the rapidly growing technical developers. My course syllabus should change as per the latest technology. There are less events, fest, campus crowd as it is recently shifted. Every student admitted with emcet counselling will get a fee reimbursement of 35000 and students other than EBC gets a scholarship of 6000.

The campus is disciplined with good faculty. Dissatisfied because of placements and surroundings.
Placements: Until now, almost 7% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. IBM and Genpact are the top recruiting companies which visited our college till 10th Jan, and many companies are offering placements. Roles of customer support, software development, and testing are offered. The highest salary package offered in our course is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course is 2.7 LPA. Almost 40 of them have done their internships in NSIC.
Infrastructure: For the CSE department like all engineering colleges, classrooms, labs and a library are provided. Our college till 2019 was in Bhongir, Nalgonda, but recently in 2019 in our final year, the college is shifted to Abids, Hyderabad and college is located in the centre of a metropolitan city. There is no college hostel, but there are many hostels in its surroundings. Students can choose hostels based on their budget and comforts. As it is recently shifted, there is no canteen in our college. However, they are planning to provide. There is no ground in our college as it is located in a high traffic area to conduct games and sports.
Faculty: Faculty members, including HODs, are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good, but it depends on students interest in the subject, and how they utilise it. The course is industry-relevant, and it makes students industry-ready if the student is ready to put their efforts in doing the course.
Other: I wanted to become a successful software engineer and want to develop my own software-based products. So I have chosen this course. I have few projects in our course that too in the final year, and I think it would be better if the projects from basic level are included as a part of course from 2nd year. Events and fests nowadays are rare in our college. The campus crowd and connectivity is average. Surroundings are often irritating as it is a high traffic area. Students admitted in our college through EAMCET counselling get a scholarship of Rs. 35,000. Opportunities to perform extracurricular activities are less.

Infrastructure: We have very useful labs at our college. The library is the best part of our college. Recruitment training sessions are conducted for students every week, and they are very useful. Our college provides good facilities. Our college provides Wi-Fi for both students and faculty.
Faculty: Faculty in our college are very well-trained. They have a good university experience. They provide very useful information for the students. They give awareness to the students. They use projectors in the classrooms to teach so that students can understand the topic easily. The syllabus of all subjects will be completed on time.

My college is a temple of learning.
Placements: The placements in our college are very good. They are well-trained and experienced. They teach us well. They train the students for placements. They conduct mock interviews among students to provide awareness about it. They encourage us in all types of placements sectors.
Infrastructure: Labs are very good and all instruments are provided. Every day, the faculty check the instruments and replace the damaged instruments immediately if any exists. The computers are provided in every lab, and we also have computer labs in our college. Wi-Fi facility is provided with high-speed.
Faculty: The teachers in our university are well trained. They teach us very well in the class. They treat everyone equally and explain decently and neatly. They use the projector and explain in detail. They teach very politely according to the students.
Other: All the events and fests are conducted well. The scholarship is provided to students.

Very much satisfied with the faculty and rules of the college.
Placements: The placements are very frequent. 30% of the students got placed. The highest package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest is 1.8 lacs per annum. BPO, technical, non-technical posts were offered to students. 20 to 30 students got internships. Companies like Genpact, IBM, Sutherlands, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, etc., visited the college.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi facility is not provided. Labs are good. Classrooms are good with projectors. Every year, games are conducted across Hyderabad. Canteen food has good taste, and good quality is maintained. The library has all types of books. Students can get one textbook for a week, and have to return it after a week.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and professionals. The knowledge of each faculty is very good. They are highly experienced in teaching. The student-faculty ratio is 50:1. They use a projector and smart classes to teach us. They use new technology and innovative thoughts to teach students.
Other: Events like college day and fresher's party were good. The annual fest is too good. The campus surrounding has walls, and the ground was good and has greenery.

Aurora is a temple of learning.
Placements: There are pretty good chances of getting placements to the students. It has been three years studying in this college, there are good opportunities for internships every year. The teaching faculty are also very well experienced as they provide the best quality education to the students.
Infrastructure: Every faculty member is very cooperative, and the labs are maintained very clean. The classrooms are also very neat with projector facilities. If I talk about the library, I can describe it as the best place to pass our time as there are a lot of books to read with curiosity.
Faculty: The teaching faculty are very helpful as they provide constant support to the students. All the teachers in the departments are highly qualified. They choose the easiest way of teaching by their experience not only for the theory classes but also they provide us with the practical knowledge.

Dissatisfied with the expectations and knowing the reality of the college.
Placements: The placements are not taken seriously in the college. Mostly, MNCs directly come to the colleges, the whole Aurora Group is gathered for the placements at a single campus. Mostly in our college, Banks come for the placements. The average salary package is about 5-6 LPA, the highest package is 10.25 LPA, and the least package may be around 4-5 LPA. The internship from the college is too difficult, and we have to go for the interns outside the college and find out by ourselves. There is a placement cell, and its functioning is commendable, but still, the results are not up to the student's expectations. It is useful for getting out of the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the college at this point of the digital world, it can be said somewhat average. Still, there is the old style of mentality. The Wi-Fi facility is provided all around the campus. The classrooms are big and well-maintained. The library has a good collection of books. There is a medical facility. The only thing lacks the sports facility, not much preference is given for the sports. The place and the grounds are not maintained at all. The quality of the labs is not much good. The computer labs do not have A/Cs, old systems are being used now also. The canteen food is somewhat good, well-maintained and the prices are affordable. The hostel rooms are better compared to all the things related to the college, except the food while is nowadays common everywhere.
Faculty: The faculty members are nowhere helpful, except a few, who are there for the welfare of the student. The faculty members in the higher posts are highly qualified like holds except them, and there is no one well-qualified. The knowledge is something, which lacks in most of the faculty. The teaching quality for this engineering level is not at all good. The whiteboard teaching in the labs and the projector based teaching on the classes is used mostly. The student-faculty ratio is good, but the junior faculty are not at all helpful and even not well-qualified. The industrial exposure is given to the students for their development. The curriculum is nowhere going to be helpful for a student. The education system is around 10 years old and still running on it.
Other: The events are held every year. The national level cultural and technical fests are held every year, national lever sports fest is conducted. The events are conducted on every occasion. The campus is widespread in 3-hectares of land but not well-maintained except the main campus. The scholarship is provided for the eligible students, and there is no issue with it. The college is well-connected with the other colleges in the city.
