I like this college. Their teaching and training for placements are very useful for me.

Placements: The students have taken about 65 percent and above in their 12th marks. The package is decided by your cutoff through the government quota. For management, the average is 1 L per year. Hexaware, Schneider Electric, Wipro, etc., are recruiting companies. The roles are offered by the companies as per their perspective. The lowest salary package is 2.5 LPA, and the highest salary package is 12 LPA and above.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. There are well-equipped laboratories and well-trained faculty members. Wi-Fi is available for all classes. Classrooms are well-designed and comfortable. The hostel is very safe for girls, providing good security and following strict rules. They have all varieties of technical books in the library.

Faculty: The teachers are well-trained and have experienced knowledge about this course. They teach very well, making the concepts easily understandable. This course is very useful for students who want to take part in both hardware and software companies. The semester exams are not very tough. One subject may be tough per semester, otherwise, it is an easy course for me.

Other: I chose this course to enter the industry with both hardware and software knowledge. Everything is good. The events conducted are very joyful and help relieve stress. You spend quality time with friends. If you want both fun, knowledge, and placement, I recommend this college for you.

Excellent faculty, land, training and placements at AVSEC helped me gain strong practical skills.

Placements: The placement training session provided by our college was excellent. And hands-on industrial training exposure was provided. Especially, soft skill training sessions were very helpful. Software developed trainee, Test engineer, and Product engineer roles are offered in this course.

Infrastructure: Well-equipped labs, free Wi-Fi access, and a very comfortable place to learn. The quality of the food was good in the cafeteria, and equal priority is given to both academia and sports. Women's kabaddi, Athletes continuously win trophies and various tournaments for sports were organised in our college.

Faculty: Intensive coaching is provided, mentoring each student individually, and strong faculty members are available. Guidance by our faculty members was excellent, and 50 marks is the pass percentage. And many of our seniors secured a university rank. And I am proud to share that I am the department topper of the ECE 2026 batch.

Other: Many events were conducted, and we are recognised on the achievers' day. Symposiums, seminars and conferences, workshops conducted by our college and organised by us enhance our leadership and teamwork skills.

Great college environment with engaging study.

Placements: 100% of students who attended placement interviews got placed from my course. 14 LPA is the highest package, 3.5 LPA is the lowest, and 6 LPA is the average. TCS, Zoho, and Wipro are the recruiting companies. 80% of students got internships in above companies. Roles offered are developer, tester, and analyst.

Infrastructure: There are separate labs with new model PCs and Wi-Fi connection. The classrooms are clean and spacious. The library has a warm and good environment to enhance knowledge. The hostel facility is great. The quality of food is good in mess as well as in canteen.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and as well as friendly with students. The teaching quality is great. The course curriculum is relevant as it has recent trends for making students industry-ready. The college conducts a method by allocating 5 days for each subject one my before the examination.

Other: This is the value-to-money course. Just more practical experience should be provided. All events and fests are conducted. Scholarships are available for merit students and SC/ST students.

Placements: AVS Engineering College was a more reputed engineering college in Salem district. This college provided good placement results every year. This college placement training staff arranged more campus interviews every year. More reputed companies like Hyundai, Sonata, Tata Electronics, IBM, TCS, and Infosys. These companies visited the college campus for interviews. Student's salary package was 3 LPA - 10 LPA. 90% of students placed in 2021 passed out batch.

Infrastructure: AVS Engineering College's infrastructure and facilities were excellent. More classrooms and hi-tech laboratories were available in this college. This college had good library facilities. Free Wi-Fi network was also available on this college campus. College hostels were maintained daily very good condition. Hostel food was very tasty and healthy. Some sports ground facilities and coaching staffs were also available in this college.

Faculty: AVS Engineering College faculty members were more than 5 years experienced persons in teaching professions. They were highly qualified professionals. They taught students very well. All students quickly understand the lessons. Our department staffs conducted more laboratory classes every week. 90% of students passed in the 2021 passed out batch.

Other: AVS Engineering College course fee structure was very low. This college management provided more scholarships to all students. This college provided good transportation facilities. This college management conducted more cultural events every year.

Life at AVSEC and the life of an engineering student.

Placements: 90% were placed in the AVS engineering college. The highest salary package is 10 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting company is TCL. The internship was not offered. Many of the average-level companies are recruiting at this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite poor. There are many clubs and activities in this college. There are gyms, a canteen, library. There are many sports like hockey, cricket, kabaddi, etc. The hostel is provided for both boys and girls separately. The boys' hostel is quite poor.

Faculty: The teachers are teaching at the average level. We have to study on our own. We have to understand it. Our college is affiliated with Anna University. So it is quite hard to finish it. Some of the teachers are very friendly but others of them were strict.

Other: There are some events provided by this college like regatta, and pongal celebration. This college provides scholarships for students who have taken above the 180 cut-off.

You have to think before about your life whether it is compulsory or not.

Placements: There are 78% of students who got placed in my college. There are top recruiting companies for my course. 10% of students got internships from my college in small companies. The role is a manager.

Infrastructure: In my college and course, facilities and infrastructure are not available. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, and the quality of facilities in my college are less. The quality of food is not so good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are helpful and kind. They have a good qualification. They are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. This course curriculum is relevant. It is okay but it isn't enough for students to get industry-ready.
