BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology Poddar Vihar offers undergraduate and psotgraduate courses to students. These courses are provided across Engineering, Computer Application, and various other streams. At the undergraduate level, the college offers BTech, BBA, BBA (Business Analytics), and BCA courses to students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers MTech and MCA programmes to students.

BP Poddar Institute Kolkata offers entrance-based admission. To be eligible for admission candidates, must fulfill the eligibility criteria to get admission. For instance, UG candidates must have completed their Class 12 and PG applicants must have a UG degree. Additionaly, candidates must apply and appear for the entrance exam accepted by the university. The college accepts various entrance exam scores which include WBJEE, JEE Main, MAKAUT CET, JECA, PGET and others.
