You can take admission here. It is the best college in Bihar.
Placements: Overall, 30% of students get placed. Companies like Federal Bank, TCS, Reliance, L&T, and Infosys recruit from the college. The highest package offered is 10 LPA by TCS. The placement percentage is 50% in Computer Science and 90% in Fire Technology. Students get internships, but they are unpaid.
Infrastructure: Hostel buildings are good, but playground facilities are not available. A gym is also not available. Wi-Fi is provided by the college throughout the campus. The library is small, where 100+ students can sit. Books are also limited, mostly related to the course. Labs and classrooms are well furnished.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive, well-qualified, and experienced. The teaching quality is good, and the course curriculum is relevant. We have to go to NCE Chandi for examinations. From the 2025 batch, semesters are conducted on time. Semester exams are moderate. Most students pass the exams.
Other: I have an interest in coding, so I chose Computer Science. The best thing about CSE is that you can get a job easily with daily coding practice. Only farewell and fresher parties are held in this college.

Placements: In branches like CSE and its specializations such as CSS and IoT, 20 to 25% of students get placed. In other branches like EEE, Civil, and Mechanical, the placement rate is 15-20%. The average package is 5-6 LPA, and the highest package is 11-12 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro and TCS.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. There is a library that offers unlimited Wi-Fi and many books related to academics. The college atmosphere is also good. Different labs are present for students of different branches, like computer labs, electronics labs, and physics labs.
Faculty: Faculty members in this college are supportive. Different faculty members are present for different subjects and teach students with full enthusiasm. The semester exams at this college are not too hard. If studied with proper planning, students can get good marks. The college curriculum is good and makes students placement-ready.
Other: I chose B.Tech in CSE because of my interest in learning new technologies related to software. The best thing about this course is that it offers many paths, like jobs in website development, app development, data analysis, and machine learning.

Review of Bakhtiyarpur College of Engineering.
Placements: Overall, Computer Science has good placements and a competitive environment. Fire Technology has guaranteed placement and is known for its good GATE results. Many students got the opportunity to study in IIT through GATE. There is a good coding and startup culture.
Infrastructure: One of the best infrastructures among all engineering colleges in Bihar, with good hostel facilities and 24-hour electricity and Wi-Fi facilities. Almost all students get a hostel. There is special security for the girls' hostel. Food quality is quite good and satisfying.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and encouraging. They motivate us for campus placement and for the GATE examination. Semester exams are held every 6 months. There is no semester delay, and examinations are on time, and the passing criteria is to obtain an overall 5 CGPA in the overall year. The college curriculum is outdated.
Other: Since childhood, I have been fascinated by apps like Instagram and WhatsApp. Then I came to know about Computer Science, so I decided to choose CSE. CSE placement must be improved. The college organizes regular fests like Umang for sports and cultural events. There are a coding club, robotics club, and many more clubs to enhance technical skills.

Don't hesitate to take admission.
Placements: Placements are good here, and many seniors get placed. One senior from the EEE branch gets a 9+ LPA package. The placements are expected to grow in the upcoming years. The placements are better than many GFTIs and private colleges. Students who study with focus get placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best. There are two academic buildings, lots of classrooms, and labs with suitable equipment. There are more than 5 computer labs with hundreds of computer systems. There is also a big library full of books and digital resources. The infrastructure is more than enough.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and supportive. They teach according to the syllabus. Exams are of a moderate to tough level. Students must prepare sincerely to pass the exams. The environment here is really helpful for studies and growth. There are also many lab assistants to help.
Other: There are so many activities and fests happening in the college. Students enjoy college life.

Placements: Companies like Federal Bank, TCS, Reliance, L&T, and Infosys recruit from college. The highest package is 10 LPA offered by TCS. Placement percentage is 50 percent in Computer Science and 90 percent in Fire Technology. Here, many students prepare for GATE and other government exams.
Infrastructure: Hostel buildings are good, but a playground is not available. Gym is also not available. Wi-Fi is provided by the college 24/7. The library is also small, 150 students can sit, and books are also limited, mostly related to the course. Labs and classrooms are well furnished.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive, well-qualified, and experienced. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. We have to go to NCE chandi for the examination. From the 2025 batch, the semester is on time. The semester exams are moderate, and most students pass the exam.
Other: I am a CSE student of the 2025-29 batch. Careers are good in CSE. Practice of coding is good for CSE. Only fresher party and farewell occur in this college.
