Review of Bankura Zilla Saradamani Mahavidyapith.
Placements: The fee for the B.A. course is Rs. 15000 for the entire 3 years, and the hostel fees are not included in it, but the placement you get is good. The average placement is around Rs 3 lacs to Rs 5 lacs, and the highest package is Rs 10 lacs. The university says it goes up to INR 20 lacs.
Infrastructure: The college atmosphere is excellent. It has good infrastructure and library and lab facilities with a playground, a tennis court, a volleyball court, and Wi-Fi in some areas. Classrooms are good and clean. The place was hygienic. The college has also provided hostel facilities. The canteen and mess are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are so great because they help the students as much as they can. The method of teaching is good and easy to understand. The quality of education is good. The stuff and professors working here are well experienced in their field. And the curriculum is well updated and includes all the recent developments in this field.
Other: Campus life is amazing here because they provide many passes for events in reasonable price like freshers party, Gandhi Jayanti, Annual functions, etc.

It is the best college in Bankura and is under Bankura University.
Placements: My name is Ananya Kundu, and currently, I am in my 2nd year. As this is a general degree college, we are not thinking about placements. The placement rate is about 20% or below. Some TV news companies have visited here every year to recruit some students as news reporters like ABP News, News 18 Bangla and CAN News. They offered a salary package of about 1.5 LPA to 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are really good here. Our campus has 24x7 Wi-Fi. Labs are good enough. Classrooms are also good, and some classrooms are completely air-conditioned. Library service is available 24x7, and there is a hostel facility here. Two sharing and four sharing rooms are available. It is a ladies' college, so the hostel facility is available only for girls. The quality of food served is average in the mess, but the food served in the canteen is really amazing and tasty. The primary treatment facility is available in the hostel. Besides our college, a government hospital is available. Annual sports and games are also conducted by our hostel as well as our good college.
Faculty: Teachers here are knowledgeable and highly qualified. They are friendly also. As our college is under Bankura University, semester exams are conducted by our university. Internal exams are conducted by our college only. Semester exams are of a moderate level, so the pass percentage is high, which is almost 96%.
Other: As I want to be a teacher, I chose this B.Sc course. I want our college to improve the lab department. Many events are conducted like NSS, Diya decoration, etc. Our college is situated in the centre of the city Bankura, so transportation facilities are good. Our college provides many scholarships like OBC, SVMCM and Oasis.

It is the only women's college in Bankura which has very good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: The placements provided in BZSM college are really good and even better if you are from courses like B.Com (Hons) B.A economics (Hons), B.Sc maths (Hons), etc. The dedicated placement cell of our college conducts personality enhancement and grooming sessions for its students in areas like behavior skills, interview facing skills and overall personality development of students. This placement cell provides various job opportunities. The average salary package offered here is around 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered can be up to 10 LPA. Almost 60% of the students got placed in management companies of India. The placement record is expected to increase in the coming year. But internship facilities are not provided to us.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of BZSM is very good, and there is a highly computerised library. About 26,000 books are available in the library for us. There are smart classrooms, which are installed with LCD projectors and interactive learning software. There are labs to support all kinds of learning, but the Wi-Fi facility is still not available. There are 2 hostels in which the accommodation for a total of 150 students is provided. Our institution has good sports activities as well.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are highly knowledgeable and experienced. They never get irritated if the same queries are asked repeatedly. They are highly interested and passionate about teaching us. They never missed conducting our classes. Experienced faculty members are brilliant in their respective subjects and always teach us with compassion and focus. Their experience helps a lot in every field of life. Moreover, they give such an environment where we can ask them personally if we have any doubts or queries related to what they teach us in class. The course curriculum is very nicely designed in our college. B.Sc Hons is a graduation course with a duration of 3 years and follows the semester system. The structure of the course is very simplified and balanced and focuses on practicals and research work. Our college organises various exams regularly so that they regularly check our study.
Other: I love mathematics since my childhood, so I decided to pursue higher studies. For that reason, I took admission here. The fee for every year is about Rs. 5,000 (tuition fee only). Because of the affordable scholarships provided, our college is affordable to all students. Moreover, free study and half scholarships sponsored by the government scheme are granted to deserving students who are needy. Many students have been benefitted from these scholarships. Students who apply for scholarships need to provide their guardian's correct income certificate. Our college organises various cultural fests for the relaxation and refreshment of students. Our college conducts many guest lectures and social debates for the overall development of students. I am very much satisfied with our college. Various cultural events and competitions like debate, dance, music, etc., are organised. Various seminars like relevance of democracy, democratic awareness with legal literacy and capital punishment were arranged by the college authority.
