Midnapore College is an autonomous college. It is the oldest college in Midnapore affiliated with Vidyasagar University. It has been given autonomous status by University Grants Commission (UGC). The college runs various courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Arts and Sciences.

Midnapore College Minimum Eligibility for UG and PG Courses

Admission to UG course is done the basis of the marks obtained in 10+2.

For PG courses admission is based on the marks obtained in Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.

Midnapore College Admission Process

Admission to the UG courses is based on the online merit system. Merit list is based on the aggregate marks obtained in best 5 subjects including 2 language subjects or at least 1 language subject in the qualifying exam.

For PG courses admission is based on the qualifying exam and rest seats are filled on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the college.

Midnapore College Application Process

The application forms for UG and PG courses is made available online on the college website (http://www.midnaporecollege.ac.in/). The application for cost is Rs. 200 for UG courses and Rs. 300 for PG courses. The candidates can pay online through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
