I'm satisfied with my college life.

Placements: According to me, college gives good placement opportunities if you choose the correct field. Although in political Science honors, I didn't find a good placement. If you're opting for B.Com (Hons) or BBA, the college gives you good placement opportunities rather than in any form of BA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is quite good, with a wonderful library, canteen, and sports arena. Interior of the college is quite good. There's a problem with a playground, college campus doesn't have its personal ground while I was studying there, but they are making a whole university in Kolkata where everything would be provided.

Faculty: Teachers are, of course, helpful in terms of studies and extracurricular activities. Overall, the faculty is good and helpful if you go and interact with them.

Other: I chose this course because I had a good opinion of my civil service future. There are fields where there is scope for improvement in The Bhawanipur Education Society College.

A vibrant campus life but no placements for B.A. students.

Placements: For our batch, there were no placements because it was the bachelor of arts course. The college did not offer any formal internships or placements for B.A. or M.A. students. But for other courses like B.Com and BBA, it was good. Top recruitment companies for the B.Com people were EY, KPMG, Cognizant, and Deloitte.

Infrastructure: Modernized and customized classrooms were there. It was comfortable for the students. Library and sports arena were really good to hangout with friends. Various multipurpose modernized halls with updated sound systems were available for extracurricular activities and other purposes.

Faculty: Teachers were really helpful and approachable. They used modern unique techniques to engage with the students and develop a comfortable learning and knowledge exchange environment. The course curriculum was pretty relevant and keeps it updated with the recent developments. The college was under the University of Calcutta and during exam times the papers were really good with a standard level to test the student's knowledge and learning abilities. Passing percentage for each paper was 33%.

Other: The course offered not only classroom teaching but also community engagement by arranging field trips and dissertation papers for the final semester. For improvement, it would be great if they provided internships or placements for the B.A. students. In terms of extra-curricular, events, fests, and cultural programs, the environment in BESC was unmatched in comparison to any other college in Kolkata. BESC hosts the biggest college fest of Kolkata i.e., Umang and BESC AON which were the biggest MUN conference in Eastern India. Overall, the college not only offered a refined education, but also a vibrant and diverse campus life.

Stunning experience being a student of BESC.

Placements: Above 60% of marks in 12 is required for those students who get placed in my course. My course offered Rs 50,000 per semester which is normal for professional course. Top news channel is the best recruiting company for my course. The students who achieve 80% in semesters can get jobs and internships in any well-known place.

Infrastructure: My college has a lot of facilities and it is totally air-conditioned. Canteen food is really good (veg food is available. Libraries contain all the mandatory books. Classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned. Sports area is there for our refreshment.

Faculty: Teachers are really very good. They are helpful and friendly. They taught at their level best. My course is a media line. My college contains all the important items needed for my course. This course has vast industry. Semester exams are easy if you learn as usual. The pass percentage is 40% as we are under Calcutta University.

Other: I chose this course because I love the media world. I think this is the best course for my dream. You can get a vast opportunity in work life on this course. BESC is famous for its fests and events and has the biggest college fest i.e., Umang. Scholarships are available only for 90% marks students.

A short review on the Bhawanipur Education Society College.

Placements: Wipro, Bajaj are some major companies that offered internship programs, and about 40% of students applied in it. Besides that, the institution provides ample amount of opportunities that will help the students shape their future in a very extravagant way.

Infrastructure: The college has great infrastructure. The classrooms are equipped with all sorts of modern technologies which help in the audio-visual way of teaching. The professors are very helpful, and they always try to keep in touch with their students throughout the journey of the entire course through their mentorship programme. The college has one of the best-equipped libraries consisting of various genres of books. The college also provides opportunities for numerous extra-curricular activities and encourages students to participate in them for their holistic development.

Faculty: I was a student of English honours in this college, and honestly, the college, being a commerce specialty college, equally imparts great attention towards their B.A. and B.Sc. departments. I was a student under the CBCS curriculum of Calcutta University, and the teachers were well-educated regarding the course and guided us thoroughly.

Other: The college offers a great college life, almost like the ones you would see in movies. Apart from academics and extra-curricular, they also take care of the mental health of their students. Any student who has been facing problems can always rely upon their mentors or talk to the counsellor, and they would extend a friendly and accepting hand towards them.

Excellent faculty, industry-relevant curriculum, and supportive environment.

Placements: In my course, there are 400 students in B.A. Eng (Hons). In my course, the college has promised us an average package of 5 L. P. A and 7 L. P. A as the highest package. Tata Consultancy Services is one of the highest recruiting firms. On average, 4 out of 5 students from our college get internships with good packages.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors and smartboards, which provide a seamless experience. The laboratories are well-equipped and are up-to-date. The college also ensures Wi-Fi connectivity, which has moderate speed, which sometimes is consistent during peak hours. In our college canteen, we get veg food, which is fairly priced and tastes average.

Faculty: The teachers at our college are highly knowledgeable, qualified, and approachable. They use modern teaching methods such as presentations to make the class more engaging. Our course and curriculum are well designed and regularly updated and make the students industry-ready by including not only giving theoretical knowledge but practical exposure which shapes the students well enough for their upcoming challenges.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty of the college. There are good placements inside the campus.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is very active. Out of 120 students, 80 students were placed from English honors last year in companies like TCS, KPMG, and Deloitte, but this doesn't mean there are high placements in our college every year. Around 80% of students are doing internships now from English courses, and I also did my internship at Maruti Suzuki, where I had to make a report on sales of the cars. Top roles offered include content writers, journalists, public relations officers, marketing executives, English teachers, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good for our department. We have ACs in all the classrooms, and also the classrooms are equipped with projects and microphones. We have Wi-Fi connection inside the campus, and we can access it through the password given by the college. We don't have a hostel, but the quality of food available in the canteen is superb. The prices are high, but the quality is good, and our canteen serves only veg food. Medical facilities are good, as all the floors of the college have first aid boxes. We have a sports arena in the college where we can play indoor games like chess, boxing, and ludo, and also we have a basketball court inside our college.

Faculty: The teachers of the college are really qualified and knowledgeable, and they are helpful too. The quality of teachers is better than in government colleges, and we have Google classrooms and WhatsApp groups; if we face any doubt, we just ask our professors there. The course curriculum is excellent as it provides analytical skills and deep knowledge to the students so that they can use it for their job interviews and can take part in extracurricular activities like debate, theater, etc. The semester exams are moderate, and one can clear it easily if he or she follows college notes. The pass percentage is 80-85%.

Other: I choose this course because I want to develop communication skills and analytical skills, and the best thing about my course is that it is comprehensive in nature and explores the historic period of literature through various poems, drama, and prose. I love my course, and everything is the best here. Umang is the biggest event of our college where several colleges take part through various events. One can get a scholarship if he or she maintains over 80% in the semesters through the government scheme.
