A college that fulfills our dreams.
Placements: In our batch, around 70-75% of students from my course are successfully placed through campus placements. The highest package offered is around ₹10-12 LPA, while the lowest is around ₹3 LPA. On average, most students received offers in the range of ₹4.5-6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college provides fairly good infrastructure and facilities for students. The classrooms are spacious with projectors and basic equipment, while the library is well-stocked with academic as well as reference books. Wi-Fi connectivity is available in most parts of the campus, though at times it could be improved. The department also has decent labs and computer facilities that are adequate for academic projects. Hostel facilities are average but manageable, with clean rooms and access to basic amenities. The food served in the mess and canteen is okay.
Faculty: Faculty of the college is highly qualified, supportive, and approachable. They explain concepts clearly and encourage students to think critically, making the teaching quality quite effective. The curriculum is relevant and updated, helping students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure, which makes them industry-ready. Faculty members also guide students with projects, internships, and research work. The semester exams are moderately difficult but fair, testing both the understanding and application of the syllabus. With regular preparation, students can easily score well, and the overall pass percentage remains high, making academics balanced and student-friendly.
Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in media, communication, and storytelling, and the curriculum offered here aligns well with my career goals. The best part of the course is the balance of theoretical and practical learning, along with exposure to projects and internships. The campus life is lively with cultural fests, debates, and workshops that encourage creativity and networking. The crowd is diverse and engaging, which makes learning more collaborative. However, I feel the course could improve further by upgrading practical labs and adding more industry tie-ups to strengthen internship and

Just go for it. It's a good college in everything.
Placements: 70% of students are placed in my course. ABP Ananda is one of the top recruiting companies. Roles vary based on everyone's capability and their passion. The package varies based on the job category or post. Basically, if a student wants to do any internship, my college provides internships in various news companies in Kolkata.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is free, labs are also good, classrooms are okay, but the library needs some more books for our subject. I don't know about the hostel, but I heard once that it's good. The canteen food is awesome and at a low price. Even medical facilities are available for emergencies, and one room is available for game practice. Every year, our college participates in or plans games.
Faculty: Our teachers are qualified and good teachers. Our course is curriculum-relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry and for every company. Questions are moderate to hard. About the passing percentage, I don't have any idea because I'm a good student, so I always get good marks, and I don't have any idea about the passing marks.
Other: I chose the course because I was interested in mass media and new technologies, so I chose it. More updated versions of computers, more books in the library, and even bigger classrooms need to be improved, I think. Events, fests, campus, crowd, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are all so good and well-maintained.

It is a pathfinder for students.
Placements: 70% of students get placed in our course. 5-7% of students got internships from my college in India Today, Tata Group, etc. Field reporting, content, or desk jobs are the top roles offered in our course. Seminars are the best thing that our course provides to students.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms, department, labs, canteen, library, and Wi-Fi are available. Every facility is number 1. For everything, I would rate 10 out of 10. Even the canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are good. The level of food quality in the canteen is also very good, and it's definitely improving day by day.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, understanding, and loving. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are not so difficult if students attend classes. The pass percentage is 100%. It has the best faculty members.
Other: I found this course helpful for me, so I chose it. It made me confident. The best thing about this course is that it has so many paths to find an actual field for someone. Events, fests, and extracurricular activities are also good, enjoyable, and most likely for students. Scholarships are available.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: 80% of students got placed in top MNCs. Many students got jobs in the college in various posts. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The average package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 5 LPA, which is quite good. Top recruiting companies for our course are Bajaj, Senco Gold, Tata, and LIC. The top roles offered are professor, teacher, and human resources. Many alumni went abroad for higher studies. I got various job offers, even though the college allows us to work while doing the course. Students will get various job posts on campus.
Infrastructure: My college has a big library. The college campus is Wi-Fi connected, and labs are well-structured. Our college canteen provides very good quality food at a reasonable price. We have separate medical rooms in every building. The college organises annual sports, indoor and outdoor games. We also have a table tennis board and a chessboard.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching techniques are excellent. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I really love the faculty members. I got the course at a very reasonable price compared to other colleges, so I chose it. I can learn different things that will lead me to shine in the future. It should organise more seminars. The course should start a master's degree in college, which will be very helpful for students. Many events and fests occur in my college every year.

A great place to learn, grow, and connect.
Placements: It helps with preparing for job placement drives in colleges (like resume, aptitude, interview questions, etc). Guidance on getting placed in an internship. There are agencies or platforms for job placement. You need help creating a placement report or project. Something related to in-game positioning or mechanics.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure is well-equipped with modern facilities to support academic excellence. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with smart boards and projectors. Department has well-maintained laboratories with up-to-date equipment relevant to the curriculum. Library offers a rich collection of books, journals, and digital resources. Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the academic block, enabling easy access to online learning materials.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive. They use a mix of traditional teaching and modern methods like smart classes, group discussions, and presentations to make learning interactive. Most faculty members are approachable and encourage students to clear doubts and participate in academic activities.
Other: Campus life is lively and engaging. Various clubs, societies, and student groups are active throughout the year. They are organizing events, workshops, and festivals. Sports facilities, cultural fests, and technical competitions keep the atmosphere dynamic.

Competitive learning environment, and useful despite some limitations.
Placements: In my batch, around 50-60% of students got placed. The highest package offered is approximately 4 LPA, the lowest is 1.8 LPA, and the average package ranges between 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Some of the notable companies that recruited from our course included ABP, ETV Bharat, Times Internet, Zee Media, ANI, and a few digital marketing agencies. Around 20% of students received internships at ABP, News18, and other local media houses and PR agencies. The major roles offered are reporter, content writer, media researcher, video editor, social media executive, and PR trainee.
Infrastructure: Our department has Wi-Fi and smart classroom facilities. However, there is no separate library for our department. For media studies, there are some basic equipments like cameras, tripods, and editing software, but they are limited in number. Hostel facilities are fairly good, and the quality of food in the canteen is moderate, though the menu lacks much variety. Overall, college infrastructure is suitable for academic purposes. However, our department does not have its own library, and media equipment is limited. The campus has smart classrooms and Wi-Fi. Our canteen is very well-maintained.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our department are experienced, knowledgeable, and supportive. The classes related to media theory and reporting are especially effective. The course curriculum is fairly up-to-date, though it needs more focus on emerging trends. Training or workshops on important software would have been beneficial. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but it is possible to pass with proper preparation. The pass percentage is around 85-90%.
Other: I chose the B.A. honors in journalism and mass communication course because I had a strong interest in media. The course includes reporting, content writing, video editing, public relations, and some practical assignments, all of which are helpful. College organized major annual events, sports activities, and celebrated all kinds of festivals. We also received various scholarships during our academic years. Overall, the college infrastructure and academic environment are quite good.
