The best faculty members, great infrastructure and facilities that took good care of students.

Placements: There were no placement opportunity for Arts section when we passed out during the year 2017. It is there now, as our juniors have informed us. They feel like they got back more than the money they spent on the entire course of two years.

Infrastructure: Every thing was more than expected. The library was stuffed with books that can not just impart knowledge but could give you a tour around the world, and other different worlds. There were lifts, fully air conditioned building, with a number of security guards to prevent any kind bullying that might take place, entire college was under CCTV surveillance. There were playing rooms and place for the students.

Faculty: Faculty was the best in the City, Tathagatha Sen even won the best teacher award among all the colleges in callcutta. The best guest lecturers in the city and from aboard. There were workshops help to improve skills. Prof. Ronan Paterson, was one of best guest lecturer who came from abroad from the Trinity College and we had a wonderful workshop with him.

Really good faculty members.

Placements: As an M.A. student, I do not know much about placements but I do know that the college has a very successful and committed placement cell. Every year a lot of B.Com and B.A. Students are successful in getting placements and internships. The placement cell guides the students and also holds seminars that may help them in the future.

Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure with smart classrooms and laboratories. The library is extremely updated and modern with access to online journals as well. The college has provisions for both indoor and outdoor sports. There is a sports arena for indoor sports such as table tennis, chess, darts and so on as well as a turf for basketball and cricket.

Faculty: The entire faculty of the college is extremely helpful and kind. The teachers use both modern and tried and tested methods of teaching so as to ensure a proper learning experience for each and every student. Guest lecturers are often invited to teach the students and also hold specialised seminars that will benefit the students.

Other: The college hosts it's annual fest Umang each year in Dec/Jan. Apart from that it also encourages participation in other fests and hold other events like MUN, sports tournaments and so on in the college.

Review of Bhawanipur Education Society College.

Placements: Unfortunately, the arts department does not provide any placement after the degree, which rarely provides good opportunities. The MBA and commerce departments have excellent placement records. Mainly, jobs are given in private coaching classes as a teacher. Internships are paid and unpaid. A publishing company offers an internship stipend of $8,000, and after completing the internship, they give a certificate. Anyone after completing M.A. English can state there own coaching class or as teachers, they get at least a 15,000 salary job.

Infrastructure: Our annual fest on campus, called Umang, is very famous. Celebrities and participants from different colleges join us. Fashion shows, dance, music, arts and many other events take place. It takes place for four days in the winter session, mainly in December. We have an excellent AC library with guidebooks, a study area, and a computer. All the amenities are beautiful. We can issue and take a book for a specific period of time via text message if you inform us of the date. Wi-Fi is also available, and classrooms and labs are great. The campus area is a small college hostel, the food is great, and the charges are reasonable. The sports ground is good, but there is a problem with the badminton court.

Faculty: Teachers are decent but rude in their behavior. You would not get enough opportunities to develop your personality. Most faculty are from Javedpur and Calcutta University. They completed M.Phil. and Ph.D. and qualified 14 professors. As we are an autonomous institute under CU, we have semester exams one-on-one. Event internal exams are held in the same week, and our papers conducted by CU are tough.

If you've studied the Science stream in Class 12 and wish to pursue B.Com (Hons) at Bhawanipur Education Society College, it is possible.
