Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering - BVCOE Navi Mumbai Answered Questions

Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering Mumbai does not offer direct admission to UG and PG courses. The college offers admission based on entrance exam scores of the candidates. The college accepts scores in MHT CET, GATE or JEE Main for specific programmes. Admission to BVCOE courses is offered through the Centralised Admission Process or CAP conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering admissions are entrance-based. Candidates are offered a seat at the college based on their score in national or state-level entrance exams. The college accepts JEE Main or MHT CET scores for BE admission. For ME, selection is based on GATE scores. Selected candidates have to participate in CAP rounds conducted by the Government of Maharashtra for seat allotment. For ME, seats are allotted through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Maharashtra MTech Counselling. 

Candidates applying for BE are required to pass HSc or its equivalent examination. The minimum aggregate required in Class 12 is 45% for BE. Hence, aspirants with 60% in Class 12 can apply provided they also hold a valid score in MHT CET or JEE Main for admission. There is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate for Backward class categories,  Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only.

There are a total of 540 seats available in BE programme of Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering. Candidates are offered seat in the BE course based on their entrance-exam scores. Aspirants with a valid score in JEE Main or MHT CET are offered seat based on their rank. Once selected, aspirants have to participate in CAP rounds for seat allotment.

Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering offers two degree courses at UG and PG levels. The college offers a four-year full-time BE programme for four-years and a two-year ME course. Admission to the offered programmes is entrance-based. The seat are allotted to candidates based on their rank via CAP rounds conducted by the Government of Maharashtra.

Candidates seeking admission in ME programme of BVCOE Mumbai must have a valid GATE score for admission. Aspirants after appearing for the entrance tests are offered seats based on their rank. Admission is done through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). There are 3 rounds of Maharashtra M.Tech counselling.  Selected candidates need to report at the campus for document verification and fee payment.

The total course fee for BE at BVCOE Mumbai is INR 1.30 lakh. Candidates who are selected for admission need to confirm their seat by paying some part of the fee. The total course fee above excludes the hostel fee. The annual hostel fee for boys is INR 96,000. The hostel fee for girls is INR 1.66 lakh for single seater,  INR 1.46 lakh for two seater and INR 96,000 for three seater rooms. 

Aspirants who have passed a bachelor's degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% aggregate (at least 45% aggregate in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) are eligible to apply for ME at BVCOE Mumbai.
