The NID DAT 2026 online application process have been opened for admission to BDes/MDes courses. The last date to apply is Dec 1, 2025. While, the NID DAT 2026 exam is to be held on Dec 21, 2025.
Candidates who wish to receive admissions must apply before the last date application.
- The NID DAT 2026 (Prelims) exam result for admission to the M.Des course has been released. For the B.Des course, the prelims results will be announced on Apr 7, 2026. Additionally, the M.Des DAT Mains exam 2026 is scheduled for Mar 8, 2026.

No, BITS Design School admissions are not merit-based. The institute selects students through an entrance basis only. Students need to submit scores of any of the following exams - NID DAT/ UCEED/ BITSDAT. This is followed by interview round for final selection.
