According to the media reports, BITS Pilani has achieved 54.35% placements in the semestor 1 of the placement session 2025 across its three Indian campuses (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad). 

Earlier, BITS Hyderabad achieved a placement rate of 79.56% for First Degree (FD) and 81.01% placements for Higher Degree (HD) courses for 2023-2024.

Candidates seeking admission shall first check the course-specific eligibility criteria. Eligible students can further fill out the application form for the respective course/or the required examination. BITS Hyderabad offers admission to BE/BPharm/MSc courses is based on merit in BITSAT. For ME/MPharm course admission, BITS HD exam or GATE/GPAT scores are considered. Candidates qualifying for the exam are further called for counselling. Moreover, aspirants seeking admission to PhD programmes need to take the respective entrance test for admission as well.

Yes, BITS Pilani Hyderabad offer direct admissions. Candidates who are first-rank holders of all the Central and State boards are admitted directly to the specialisation of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score. BITS Pilani, Hyderabad inducts students in its ME course through GATE, BITS HD. Candidates who are interested in taking admission to the ME programme at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad campus must take the above mentioned test. The aspirant should meet the minimum of aggregate 60% aggregate in graduation. Aspirants, who do not meet the pre-defined last educational qualification might not be eligible for the course.
