The seats are allocated on the basis of JEE Main merit scores. Out of total, 50% seats are allocated by HSTES counselling. Rest of the seats are divided in two categories, management and NRI quota. Seats in both of these categories are allocated on the basis of entrance exam merit.
The cutoffs for BTech admissions in the institute are not available as per official sources. However, according to data present on Shiksha page the 2025 closing rank for CSE branch was 1202618. The eligibility for admission is Class 12 from Science stream from any recognised university. Moreover, a JEE Rank is also required. Admissions are completely entrance-based. Students have to register and participate in the counseling process. The seat allotment is based on entrance merit rank.
