The seats are allocated on the basis of JEE Main merit scores. Out of total, 50% seats are allocated by HSTES counselling. Rest of the seats are divided in two categories, management and NRI quota. Seats in both of these categories are allocated on the basis of entrance exam merit.

No, admissions in the course are completely based on JEE Main merit ranks. Students have to appear for the entrance exam for admissions. The seats are allotted through the counseling process.
