It is a good college, but they need to improve according to real industry practice.
Placements: Approximately 20% of the students are placed. TCS is the top recruiting company of our college which offered a salary package of 2LPA. In the computer engineering branch, 80% of the students are doing an internship programme.
Infrastructure: Facilities on campus are good, and Wi-Fi and hostel facilities are available here. The location is good, which is nearby the high way. Hostel facilities are average as compared to landmarks.
Faculty: Professors in our college have good knowledge, and labs practical are conducted here. All the professors are well-skilled, and they are teaching according to all course in industrial knowledge. All courses in need to improve according to the latest industrial practice and theory because syllabus knowledge is not enough for the real world.
Other: Practical labs and professional studies are provided in our college.

There's a lack of practical education so that students are facing difficulties to get placed.
Placements: Only one company, i.e., TCS visited the campus for placement drives conducted to offer placement opportunities for final year students. Only 2-3 students were placed throughout the entire placement process. The salary offered to students is ranged between Rs.10,000-15,000 per month. The rest of the students have to find a job by themselves.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this institute is good. It has a library. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There is a huge sports ground behind the college. Canteen facilities are not good. There are only a few food choices offered here, and even the snack options are limited. Cleanliness is not maintained on the campus. Classrooms are quite good. Labs are not much used by our faculty; they are just for namesake. Moreover, students are not aware of the concepts because faculty members are not trying to teach practical applications of various concepts.
Faculty: The college offers the B.Tech course in eight different streams. Also, it offers courses like a diploma and MBA. Every department has enough faculty to offer theoretical knowledge, but they are not interested in providing practical knowledge. So students can get only theoretical knowledge as no practical knowledge is provided here.
Other: Every year events like sports week, intercollege festival, freshers' party, and farewell party, etc., are conducted in the college.

Disappointed, concerning placements in 2015.
Placements: During the final year of my graduation, IT companies like TCS and Zero Choas visited the college to conduct placements for the students of computer science and IT branch. For the students studying mechanical and electrical branches, many companies visited the college during our placement season. TCS hardly selected 6 to 7 students out of 110 to 120 students. TCS generally offers a package of 3.5 LPA. Students were offered assistant software engineer role. Internships were not provided by the college. Placement cell was available, but it was not much useful.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was available to students, but it was limited. Classrooms, labs and library were very good. Dispensary was not available. Sports and games were not conducted. Canteen food was average. Hostel was very terrible.
Faculty: During my studies, many PhD faculty members were present. They were very supportive to students personally and professionally. Teaching methodologies and teaching quality were excellent. The ratio of students to faculty was 30:1. I didn't get any industry exposure.
Other: Every year, tech fest is organised. Sports activities are not conducted.

I am dissatisfied with the college because of placements.
Placements: Placements were not good for the students of our batch and our senior batch. Rarely 2 to 3 companies visited our college for placements. Only 2% to 3% of the students got placed. The average salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. TCS visited the campus for placements, and students were recruited for technical support engineer role. The college doesn't provide any internship opportunities. A placement cell was also available in our college, but it was not useful.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was excellent. They provided Wi-Fi facilities for limited periods. Labs were well-maintained with every instrument. The library was full of books but not useful for students because they only issue 2 books at a time. Sports facilities were not good. There was a certain space for sports and outdoor activities. They also provide computer systems in the lab. Classrooms were very clean with big blackboard, projector and benches. The canteen was not that good. Students can only have wafers, biscuits and tea. There is no hostel on the campus. I did not face any issues related to
infrastructure during my tenure.
Faculty: Professors and lab assistants were very helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was up to the mark. They taught in the way students can easily understand. They used both theoretical and practical methods to teach. There were enough number of faculty members for labs and lectures. The course curriculum was okay, but it was not useful in real-time or real life.
Other: Our college organised technical events which were very good. Freshers and farewell events were also organised in our college. The campus crowd was also good. Our college doesn't have stationery, so we have to travel 5 kilometres from college to get anything. Our college provided scholarships every year. The remaining activities were not up to the mark.

It is a super amazing dream college.
Placements: There were no placement opportunities provided during our tenure in the college. But they have started providing placements to students from the last 2 years. In 2 years, from 2016 to till now, more than 100 companies from all over India have selected more than 400 students from our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of CU Shah University is quite good with different facilities like Wi-Fi, library, canteen, etc. I was living in a college hostel near the college. The experience of living space was very good with excellent cooks who were providing very healthy food.
Faculty: Teachers in the college were very qualified and were experts in their subjects. Their teaching quality was very good, and they were using mind-blowing self-created techniques to teach us. We visited more than 5 industries in Ahmedabad to understand how companies function.

The college has good environment and placements.
Placements: Our batch has experienced placements, and the placements in the college were very good. Various IT companies like TCS and Infosys visited the campus and hired students. Many other local companies also visited the campus for placements. I don't know about the stipend offered to students over there, but one can guess by the name of the company.
Infrastructure: The area of the campus is very big. There are separate buildings for every course with a big library having almost all the books of all authors related to the course. Equal priority is given to sports and games and academic activities. There is a separate computer lab for each department.
Faculty: In my last two years, there was a shortage of good teachers as there weren't any experienced teachers. But the teachers who were in the college were very helpful. The curriculum was decided by our university, i.e. Gujarat Technical University, so there are no changes in curriculum.

Good college in terms of teaching but less enthusiastic environment and not as good for placements.
Placements: Wipro, Essar, TCS, L&T are some of the companies which visit our college for placements. Our college has bond with TCS so it visits every year for placements. My senior batch from B.Tech electrical got an offer of 3.5 lacs per annum and 40% students were selected by the company. Another batch from Diploma electrical got offer of 3 lacs per annum ; I don't have idea about how much of them got selected.
Infrastructure: We got a good infrastructure. There are total 4 buildings - one for Diploma studies, one for electrical - computer engineering, one for civil - mechanical and the last one for MBA department. The whole campus is provided with Wi-Fi. There are enough labs equipped with necessary equipments. Classrooms are good. Some of them have projectors. Library is filled with all kinds of books and there is a reading room too which is also seperate for engineering students and Diploma students. Our canteen offers full lunch as well as packed snacks and cold drinks. There is a hostel in front of the college. I don't have much idea about it as I don't live in there.
Faculty: We don't have more facilities but just enough for the teaching. Some of the faculty members are quite good in their subjects. Others are not as good as them or you can say their teaching skills are poor. Every semester, faculty members cover 70-80% syllabus which is also good coz even in well known colleges, they don't complete full syllabus. We did some visits to the industries like L&T and also visited several substations and pumping stations.
Other: In previous years, there were lot of events and activities held in our college but as for now, the numbers of students is much less so very rarely any event takes place. However, there is always celebration of women's day and national constitution day etc. And time by time they held blood donation camp also.

How my college is look like and how much good and bad at campus.
Placements: Placement are good at our college but student skills required more in current era. The highest placement of our computer department is 12 students get placed in TCS company and the lowest placement of our computer department is 4 students last year. The highest salary package is 4 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has so many labs and whole campus is fully Wi-Fi. Library has around 14000 books of every department. For sports there is special space where all the games are held. In our computer department all the classes contain projector so student can easily use that for presentation purpose and faculty can use for teaching purpose.
Faculty: Faculty are so much good and skilled at their subjects and they are friendly nature so student can feel comfortable with them. Some course are not good but some are good. There are some Ph.D. faculty are available and they have deep knowledge of their subjects so student can get easily solutions of their problems.
Other: Every year event are organised by every department so student can enjoy college life too.
