It is a good college if you want to gain a certificate.

Placements: There are no placements for students. It is just an average college where you can get a diploma degree. If you want a job immediately after college, then I won't suggest joining this college. There are no internships.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but facilities are quite average. There is a library in which you can get books regarding your academic. Labs are average. The hostel is horrible, and there is no Wi-Fi. The hostel is like another normal college.

Faculty: Faculty members in this college are good except for the computer science branch. I think the CS branch is not aided, so the curriculum directly comes from the department of technical education board Bangalore, which has issues. Students have to do project work and everything on their own because teachers don't show much interest.

Other: They conduct few functions where we get to see some speakers who have achieved something in life. Except this, there is nothing like fests, and sports activities are also nil. If you are a sportsperson, then this college is not for you.

C.V.Charantimath Rural Polytechnic College is empowering rural talent since 1983.

Placements: I don't know who got placements. I never heard about placements at this college, so I don't know whether the college has placements or not.

Infrastructure: The building is symmetrical, with a central entrance flanked by two wings. It has a two-storey structure with a sloped roof and a small central tower-like structure. The entrance path is lined with trees, leading into the main doorway. The overall environment is clean and well-maintained, with greenery around. There is no electricity in some classes, and there is no good cafeteria. There is no good water facility. Toilet facilities are also not good for boys. There is no infrastructure. There is no good ground facility.

Faculty: There is a semester-based course curriculum combining theoretical subjects (like engineering maths, workshop, and practices) with practical lab work. Final-year projects and industrial visits are usual components in the curriculum. Some polytechnics incorporated MOUs with local industries for hands-on experience and internship opportunities.

Other: The college is far from the city. Shops are there to purchase snacks, a pen, paper, and book items. There are no good scholarships, and that has never been deposited on time.
