It has strong faculty and infrastructure, but placements need improvement.
Placements: Engineering is one of the most sought-after fields of education in our country. Every year, lakhs of students take admission in the various engineering colleges of India and aspire to establish a career as an engineer. Due to the ever-increasing demand for the course, many engineering colleges have opened in the country to accommodate as many engineering aspirants as possible. These colleges claim to provide world-class education, infrastructure, and training to their students.
Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped labs specific to different courses, including computer labs and other specialised labs. Classrooms are generally decent, and some are air-conditioned and equipped with projectors for presentations. The library is well-stocked with books related to various subjects. It also provides magazines. Wi-Fi is available for students to access online resources and for academic purposes. The hostel facilities are average. The quality of food in the mess is often mentioned as a point of concern. The food in the mess is reported to be average and sometimes repetitive. There may be limited variety.
Faculty: Students generally report that the faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Teaching quality is generally considered good with faculty members effectively explaining concepts. Some reviews mention that not all faculty members are equally effective or punctual and that some may not have the same level of expertise as others. Overview of CIPET College.
Placements: Every student in my class got placed in well-reputed companies. The highest package was 8 LPA, the lowest package was 4.5 LPA, and the average was about 6 LPA. L&T, Valeo, and KINGFA were among the companies. 100% of my class students got internships in various companies. The roles offered were Design Engineer and Material Engineer.
Infrastructure: In the Labs, almost every piece of equipment related to polymers was available. We gained practical knowledge. About the hostel, the rooms and bathrooms were good, but the food was okay.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful to students in clarifying every doubt. They taught some extra knowledge apart from the syllabus. The quality of teaching was good. The plastic technology course was more useful for getting into plastic-related companies. They were waiting for students with plastic knowledge. The exams were easy. The faculty members were good and friendly. They taught very politely and easily. They were well-trained and well-experienced in their field.

About my experience, I enjoyed myself well with my friends. This college was suggested by my sister and family. We received the TANCET scholarship for getting good marks in the exam. Many extracurricular activities were available.

Insights of CIPET: IPT Chennai.
Placements: Junior engineer, supervisor, CNC operator, project manager. Likely abroad companies are recruiting recently. The highest fresher package is 10 LPA by Rather Energy Bangalore. Asian Paints company recruits our college students as brand ambassadors in the curriculum.
Infrastructure: Average food, sometimes worse, sometimes great. Contact-based food and canteen, so changing them can be easy by insisting to the college. Good menu covering snacks too. Decent living style in the hostel, no TV and other electromagnetic items are allowed. Quite hard for ventilation in summer times.
Faculty: Follows percentile marking. Probably passing the exam could be tough as the syllabus is quite complex, covering more books to study and lots of books to refer. Preparing needs more time and attention to the subject. Staff is limited to handle the subject, so self-preparation is key.
Other: Likely 2 culturals and 1 sports day every year and an International Symposium.

Disappointed college with good placement for me.
Placements: Students without a history of arrears and with a minimum percentage of 70 will be placed.
The highest package in my department is 5LPA and the lowest package is 2.8 LPA.
The top recruiters are ITW, Reliance, Besmark, Fanuc, an, Besmark, Fanuc, and L&T.
The same applies to students without a history of arrears with an above 7 CGPA, who are working as interns in Valeo.
Mostly, the roles are like marketing, design, production, and supervisor.
Infrastructure: Classroom and library atmosphere will be good. In labs, most of the equipment will not work.
Highest qualifications of faculty are from M.Tech colleges. Faculty from testing centers and research centers are also provided. Some faculty are contract, and sometimes they provide guest faculty.
Faculty: As I already mentioned, faculty are with M.Tech qualification, and their teachings are also not so good to understand. Most of the time, they won't come to the class.
Yes, my course, manufacturing engineering, is purely industry-based, and I make students ready for industry
Pass mark is 50%, and semester exams are not so tough. We can self-study and self-prepare just 15 days before the exam.
Other: I chose this because a few colleges offer this course and have limited seats.
Along with the degree, we need to concentrate on extra design courses.
In my academics, they did not conduct any big events; just one symposium, that too they conducted like a small event, not a big chief guest, and program.

College with practical experience .
Placements: Most of the students are placed in campus placements. Very few opt for higher education. The minimum average salary package is 3.6 LPA. You will be offered positions such as Junior Associate or Production Assistant Manager, depending on your qualifications. Top recruiters are Reliance, Supreme, United International, and others.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are provided with basic facilities like enough tables, fans, and an LED projector. There are computer labs and separate laboratories for each subject. Hostel food is strictly average, and the facilities are too. However, the charges for food are very high, and it operates on a prepaid system. Sports activities in this college are rare.
Faculty: The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate to hard. You need to study from the beginning of the semester to get good marks. The plastics manufacturing field is a very good curriculum-oriented course and it will help you to explore in depth every product. Teachers are well-qualified to teach you, and interaction with them is also good.
Other: Overall this college is good but they need to improve in co curriculum activities also.

CIPET the institute of plastics.
Placements: The placements in CIPET are quite good and last year there were too many companies like Reliance, Rather, UBE, and so on with a maximum package of 9.6 LPA. The placement coordinator is humble, and all students have been placed as the institute has given 100% placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel has 8 floors, lifts are available and there is a warden, assistant warden and a caretaker who will take care of students and their health. The hostel has a good floor the room looks pretty decent and affordable.
Faculty: The teachers at CIPET Chennai are very humble and clear all the doubts that the students have. Mostly all the staff are graduated and are PhD holders and the only disadvantage is they are not available all time as they have too much work because the number of staff is less.

Admission to CIPET Ahmedabad for UG courses such as B.Tech (Plastics Engineering) needs eligibility of 45% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and a valid score in JEE Main or GUJCET to get an entry. The admission goes through ACPC counseling or CIPET-JEE for 50% of the seats.
