The college has good infrastructure and good faculty members.
Placements: Around 85-90 percent of students got placed. The highest package is about 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The average package ranges from 6-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Cognizant. Nearly 70 percent of students secured internships in companies like Amazon, Zoho, and Deloitte. Major roles offered are editor, designer, content creator, and media associate.
Infrastructure: The department offers smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi with well-equipped computers, and a resourceful library. Hostels are clean with good rooms, good mess food, canteen options, and medical support. There are active sports facilities for students. It offers good food.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and well-qualified. They have practical skills. The course curriculum is updated and helps students become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. Overall, the pass percentage is usually around 85-90 percent. There are good faculty members in my college. They give good grades.
Other: I love the B.Tech IT course, so I chose it. Maths subject should be improved. Events organised are the best.

This is a school-named college
Placements: In my college, the placements are just okay because the highest LPA is 5, but other colleges provide more than my college through their placements to the students. For those placements, we spend 10,000 per year, but there are no effective companies we could meet.
Infrastructure: Hostels are below average in their rooms, bathrooms, and their school-like rules. In classrooms, they do not allow mobiles, and if any mobile is seen, it is seized by the faculty and given back only after a 3-month duration.
Faculty: My college is affiliated to Anna University and runs their old, outdated programme of courses, but autonomous colleges provide subjects based on the most demanded fields, while Anna University is not useful for industrial exploration.
Other: Alumni are struggling to work in the placed companies because the placements provided by the college are fake. It means they work for only 2 months, and after that, they are relieved from the company.

It is the worst college with the worst transport and the worst classroom facilities.
Placements: The worst placements are offered to students. Per year, we are paying Rs. 5,000 and a total of Rs. 20,000, but they do not provide quality placement education. The worst placement offers are provided to students, and they call companies with a package of 5 LPA only. However, other colleges provide starting packages from 5 LPA onwards.
Infrastructure: Our college has the worst benches and desks for us. It does not allow us to use a mobile inside the college, and we should hand over to the mobile counter, which is compulsory. In labs, computer screens are polarised and look very scary. PC has only 2 GB of RAM. The college canteen is also worse, with high-cost food, and the quality is poor.
Faculty: Teachers provide important questions, and a lit bit of classes are going as seminars. Some teachers are not teaching a particular topic because they tell students to self-study the topic. Semester exams are very difficult because they do not cover the important questions. The pass percentage is 45%.

Best Chettinad- a wisdom for holistic learning.
Placements: About 90% of the students are placed in various companies. The highest package is around 7.5 LPA and the lowest is about 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies include TCS, Zoho, Terv, and others. Approximately 99% of the students secure internships through our course at various companies across Tamil Nadu. Our students are placed in marketing, administration, software development, and testing, and they are working successfully in all these areas.
Infrastructure: Our college provides full facilities for us to work on projects, with very good infrastructure in the labs and throughout the campus. The college design is beautiful, and the library is unique compared to other colleges. The hostel facilities are of good quality, and the food in the mess and canteen is also good. Medical facilities include first aid, and there is a doctor available outside the college who can assist if needed.
Faculty: All the teachers are experts in their domains and have great knowledge. The course curriculum is mostly relevant to our technical skills. This curriculum helps us learn industrial work and serves as a bridge between college and the workforce. The semester exams are quite difficult, they include analytical questions where we can give our answers.
Other: My course is very emerging and has a lot of opportunities in the market.

The worst college is not of value, the university is very poor.
Placements: Internships are among the worst experiences, and trading positions with Nann Mudylan are also disappointingly bad. The recruitment often offers salaries ranging from 1 lakh to 5 lakh, but 90 percent of students who worked there for five months had unsatisfactory outcomes. Some students are not able to secure jobs, yet the college claims to provide 100% job offers, which feels like a total waste of the education received at Chettinad College.
Infrastructure: The computer labs are subpar requiring only 2GB of RAM and an HDD. There is no Wi-Fi inside the college and the transportation provided by the college buses is inadequate. The food options are not up to standards and students are prohibited from bringing mobile phones. Phones are confiscated and only returned after six months. Classes are often delayed after the breaks lasting around 4 to 6 minutes.
Faculty: The evaluation of papers is very poor, and the faculty's teaching style leaves much to be desired. The study tables provided for students' use are inadequate, particularly in the ECE department, where entry is late, and five students are not allowed to participate. The college lacks speakers and sound systems, and there is no air conditioning.
Other: No mobile allowed, no laptop inside the lab, a lack of faculty to deliver the content to the students.

Placements: Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology has good placements every year. This college brought more than 20 companies for placement interviews. TCS, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Zoho, Accenture, Wipro are the top companies visiting the college. 90-95% of the students get placed in good companies. The salary packages offered range between INR 1.8-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology has good classroom facilities. The college has more computer laboratories with internet connection and a well equipped library. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel mess’ food tastes good, although they need to make some variety of food options available. There is a sports ground facility available in the college as well.
Faculty: Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology offers more than 15 courses by designated staff working in the college. They are experienced persons. They conduct workshop events and practical classes. 95 percent of the students passed in all the exams. Our department’s staff is very friendly and helpful.
Other: Chettinad College of Engineering and Technology offers excellent facilities. The course curriculum is updated. The management conducts sports events every month. The placement records are also good. The college conducts more cultural events.
