Cluster Innovation Centre admits students based on merit and entrance exam scores. Cluster Innovation Centre admission for all the programmes is subject to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam conducted by NTA. Candidates, willing to apply for admission must register for CUET exams and appear for the same. Cluster Innovation Centre offers BTech, BA, BSc and PhD at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. 

The seat intake for BTech courses at Cluster Innovation Centre is 50 seats in the year 2025. Among these seats, 30 of them are reserved for cadidates which do not belong to general category. In addition to the 30 reserved seats, there arealso 11 additional seats out of which 9 are supernumerary seats and 2 seats are for candidates getting admission through sports quota.

No, Cluster Innovation Centre only accepts the CUET exam scores for admissions into both BTech and BA courses. Candidates who have applied for JEE entrance exam will need to apply and appear for the CUET exam separately if they wish to enrol in the courses at Cluster Innovation Centre. The admissions into CIC are merit based for which, a cutoff is released for the CUET scores.

The admission criteria for B.A. (Hons.) in Humanities & Social Sciences at Cluster Innovation Centre for reserved category students is based on the CUET scores obtained in the subject combination of Any one Language from List A1 + Any three subjects out of which at least two should be from List B1. The seats available for reserved category students are:
- SC: 6
- ST: 3
- OBC: 11
- EWS: 0

To get admission to B.Tech. in Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations at Cluster Innovation Centre, candidates must appear in CUET with a subject combination of any one language from List A + Mathematics + Section III of CUET (General Test). The merit will be based on the CUET scores obtained from this combination. The college offers 20 seats for UR, 7 seats for SC, 4 seats for ST, 14 seats for OBC, and 5 seats for EWS.
