Review of Center for Management Studies (Jain Deemed to be University).
Placements: About 70% of my batchmates got placed in companies around India. The average salary package offered in our course is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Cognizant and Jtron visited our campus for placements. About 35% of my batchmates got an internship in Native Creative. The top roles offered in our course are content writers and social media associates.
Infrastructure: Our college building is small, but it has the necessary facilities. The food served is average. We had to go to other Jain University campuses to avail the sports facilities. We used to call CMS an office as the building is just a single building with no sports facilities or proper canteen.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and provide knowledge to students. The best thing about the college is the faculty. They are well-versed with the subject they handle. The course curriculum makes the students industry-ready as it has all the required subjects for journalism students to succeed.

I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: Almost 2% of the students get placed. The highest salary offered to fresher is Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered is about Rs. 15,000 per month. Not sure about the lowest salary offered because mostly it is freelance. The company visit college is Times of India, and the role offered is assistant executive producer. Almost 20% of students got an internship. Top recruiting companies are Times of India, star network, etc.
Infrastructure: There is a studio. There is a computer lab with all the software installed that is necessary. The facilities and infrastructure are good. Quality of food is bad in the canteen. There is no quality and options must be improved.
Faculty: Only some teachers are qualified enough and have industry knowledge. Others, even though they are related to the industry, they are not qualified to teach. There should be an improvement. The course curriculum is completely relevant, but there isn't much exposure.
Other: I chose this course because of passion. The subjects are relevant to the field is the best thing. Teaching and industry exposure must be improved. Fests and events are the best things. Their support and encouragement in these fields.

A journey with a lot of experience.
Placements: The placements weren’t that good for our course. Everyone preferred walk-in interviews. To my knowledge, I don’t think more than 20%-30% were placed in the college. Maximum students were placed were from BBA course which demotivated media students a lot, but we found the best for ourselves.
Infrastructure: To be honest, infrastructure was something which our campus lacked. Our old campus was at palace road, and that was too short compared to the new one. In spite of shifting to a new campus, we never had an auditorium. We never had the connectivity to Wi-Fi except in the library. The quality of the classrooms was good and spacious. All of us loved the canteen since we could get time to interact with the students and friends who were in the different course.
Faculty: The faculty was really good and got to learn a lot from it. Movies were shown to understand a concept in a much better way. The staff was really friendly and well qualified, and that’s really important for any college as well as the students. The course structure was good, and we learnt every aspect of media.

The college has all facilities, and the food you get is very hygienic.
Placements: The placement in the college depends on the skills and concentration of the students in class because anywhere you go you must have a general knowledge and we have the internship in the second year. The students spoke to some seniors, and they were well placed in the second year, and they were assigned with some good roles, mostly every person gets an internship because the course is all about increasing skills. The stipend is high as the post matters.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not good because the campus is small. The class are good and have smart boards. CMS is well known for sports activities and library is the place where you get all books. The canteen is very nice you can get all kinds of food here like pizza, burger, pasta, sandwiches and many other things the most sold food is Maggie during the break time.
Faculty: The course BAJ is very nice, the main part is doing the assignments, and people like to do it. The assignments are interesting and enjoyable. The assignments and teaching skills of every teacher are nice, and they all are helpful. The faculty takes us on an outbound trip to every class which is much more interesting.

Q:   How many times is MAT conducted in a year?
A:

MAT is conducted multiple times a year. Most of the MBA entrance exams in India are conducted annually. MAT is the only exam that is conducted multiple times in four phases and multiple exam modes. To make it possible for every MBA aspirant to appear for an entrance exam, AIMA designed MAT, which can be taken by candidates from an exam center as well as at home. The exam is held in February, May, September, and December, which allows candidates to prepare and plan for it as well as for MBA admission. In each of these four months, the MAT is conducted in CBT, PBT, and IBT modes. Candidates can choose a date and a mode of exam based on their preparation and convenience. Registrations for each MAT exam phase start a month earlier. Candidates can also take re-tests in the same academic session if they are not happy with their scores.
