Hello,The College of Engineering, Chengannur, has a very strong placement record, especially in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), where almost all students successfully find jobs. The highest salary package reported is up to INR 35LPA (on rare occasions as off-campus offers) and recent on-campus placements have offered up to INR 12LPA. The average package ranges from INR 5–6LPA, with some sources reporting minimum packages as low as INR 3.5–5LPA. Top recruiters include IBM, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Bosch, Siemens, etc. The Training and Placement Cell prepares students with group discussions, mock interviews, and soft-skill development, improving their industry-readiness. While CSE and ECE branches are preferred, placement opportunities in core branches like Mechanical and EEE are relatively less. Overall, the placement environment of CEC is very positive for CSE and ECE students, while other branches show average performance.
