Eligibility criteria for the PG Diploma in Culinary Arts at Culinary Academy of India are as follows:1. Academic Requirements:All candidates applying for the PGDCA must be a holder of any one of the following certificates from any university recognised by Osmania University, Hyderabad:a) Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technologyb) Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Hotel/Hospitality (with a minimum of two years in Food Production instruction)c) Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Hotel/Hospitality/Tourism streams (with a minimum of two years in Food Production instruction)d) Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel Managemente) Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hospitality Managementf) Bachelor of Arts Degree in Culinary ArtsCandidates who are currently appearing for their final exams in the respective streams can also apply for the course in the upcoming academic year.2. International Applicants:Non-resident Indians (NRIs) and foreign national students should submit all relevant documents along with the course application. The process of admission for these students will be handled by the Dean of Foreign Affairs, Osmania University, Hyderabad.The student also has to clear the All India Entrance Examination, a group discussion round, and an individual interview - all held at the Brand CAI premises in Hyderabad only for selection.

Academic Requirements:I. All candidates must have passed the 10+2 scheme approved by Osmania University, Hyderabad with a minimum aggregate score of 50% in any stream.II. Candidates who have appeared for Intermediate (10 + 2) or 12th standard examination or its equivalent may apply for the BCT & CA course. However, admission is subject to clearing the exam.3. Language:Candidates for whom English is not the medium of instruction must demonstrate competency in English and communication during the selection procedure.4. International Applicants:Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and foreign national students should submit all relevant documents along with the course application. Admissions to certificate courses in CAI is done based on Class 12th. You should have a minimum of 50% in Class 12th.Admission to Bachelor’s Degree and PG Diploma courses is given through the All India Entrance Examination held in Hyderabad including the candidate’s performance in GD and PI. Selection of the candidate for admission to the certificate course is done based on his/ her marks obtained in the written test, GD, and PI conducted by the college.
