CBSE Class 10 board exam date sheet 2026 - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct the Phase 1 CBSE exam Class 10 2026 between February 17 and March 10, 2026. CBSE RELEASED the official CBSE board exam date sheet class 10 2026 for Phase 1 exams on October 30, 2025. The 10th board date sheet 2026 is released on the official website- cbse.nic.in. Dec 1: CBSE 10th, 12th Practical Exams 2026: CBSE releases Guidelines & SOPs for practical exams

The CBSE practical exams 2026 Class 10, 12 will begin on January 1, 2026 for regular schools. The Board is conducting the CBSE practical exams 2026 for winter-bound schools between November 6 and December 6, 2025. Students can also check the detailed CBSE exam class 10 date sheet 2026 by clicking on the Dates tab above. The Board released the guidelines for conducting practical exams. The first phase of the CBSE Class 10 exam is mandatory for all students. In contrast, the second phase will be optional for students who wish to improve their performance in any three subjects out of science, mathematics, social science and languages. This move aligns with the New Economic Policy (NEP) 2020. The CBSE Class 10th date sheet 2026 shares the dates, days, timings, and other instructions of the exams for all subjects. The timings of the exams are between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. CBSE 10th phase 2 exams 2026 will be conducted between May 15 and June 1, 2026.

According to the CBSE 10th Sample Papers 2026 , each paper is graded for 80 marks, and the remaining 20 marks are used for the students’ internal evaluation. To clear the CBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2026, students need to score at least 33 marks in each subject and in aggregate. They must also finish their CBSE 10th syllabus and know the CBSE Class 10 exam pattern to score well in the exams.

In the previous academic session, CBSE conducted the CBSE Class 10 exams between February 15 and March 18, 2025. The CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet was released on November 20, 2024 while the CBSE Class 10 result was declared on May 13, 2025. CBSE Class 10 supplementary exams 2025 were conducted between July 15 and 22, 2025. The Board released the CBSE 10th supplementary date sheet on June 26, 2025 and the results were declared on August 5, 2025.

  • The answer booklets will be distributed between 10-10.15 am
