Typically, you would complete high school (12th grade), then pursue a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as political Science, history, or economics, and then apply for law school. However, some universities may offer integrated law programs after 12th grade which combine undergraduate and law degrees. In India, the minimum educational qualification required to pursue a law degree is completion of 12th grade from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45-50% marks. After that, you can enroll in a 5-year integrated law programme or a 3-year LL.B. Programme at a law college. It is important to research the different law colleges and their admission requirements to determine which ones may be suitable for you. You may also consider speaking with a career counselor or a faculty member at a college to get more guidance on pursuing a law degree.
