B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

Not much worth for this huge amount of money.
Placements: Placements are average at best. They are not up to the mark, going down batch by batch, which may result in a drop in the college ranking among various campuses as a result of competition. So, looking forward to getting more placements placed is better.
Infrastructure: The hostel is the worst ever. It is a nightmare. The food is eww, and we don't need to talk about it because it is a waste of time. Can't even go for a pleasurable wash time in the morning. It's the worst thing in the whole hostel combined, and the public toilets are too few in number.
Faculty: Regarding faculty, they are giving their best in each and every class. There is no issue with the faculty. They do try their best, but a few of them are PPT readers only, which is the biggest drawback of the whole college. Students fail to grasp the content.

Good infrastructure and facilities with balanced maintenance.
Placements: Top roles offered by CSE are software developer, Java developer, Python developer. They also offer data analyst, frontend developer who has more knowledge of JS, React, and Express. Backend developers, Programmers who have high knowledge of coding and problem-solving on DSA are in demand.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good compared to other colleges. Clean and hygienic with a comfortable environment, also maintained CCTV footage for security purposes. Mess food is also fine. We can eat. They prepare it very hygienically, and they provide chicken two times and eggs three times weekly.
Faculty: In our college, semester exams are not difficult. They contain both concepts, theory parts, and practicals like problems, applications, and experiments. The pass percentage of our college is also good, with consistent results. Results also come as fast as possible.
Other: In my college, events and fests are conducted. The campus crowd is not very large. Good connectivity, green surroundings, scholarships are fine. Eligible students receive them. Extracurricular activities are also conducted for students in my college.

College is good if you are a sincere student.
Placements: At CVR College of Engineering, around 78-80% of eligible students get placed each year, with recent packages ranging from the highest of 33 LPA (and even a reported 72 LPA in 2024-25) to an average of 7-8 LPA, while the lowest packages generally fall in the 3-4 LPA range. Top recruiters include Commvault, Oracle, Cadence, GAP, Amazon, Infosys, TCS Digital, Capgemini, and several product-based companies, and many students also secure paid internships with firms like Commvault, Oracle, and Cadence, offering a stipend of 40,000-50,000 per month. The most common roles offered are Software Developer, SDE, and Data/Business Analyst.
Infrastructure: CVR College of Engineering offers strong infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms, 100+ modern laboratories, and campus-wide Wi-Fi, along with a large, dedicated three-storey library that provides extensive physical and digital resources, including IEEE and other premium journals. The campus also includes a four-storey student centre with a gym, canteen, indoor games, placement office, and a medical centre, while sports facilities include cricket, basketball, volleyball, and indoor games; hostel facilities are decent with Wi-Fi, regular cleaning, renovated bathrooms, and a mess that students generally rate as good with a weekly variety.
Faculty: At CVR College of Engineering, most faculty members are well-qualified and experienced, with many holding postgraduate degrees or PhDs, and students generally find the teachers helpful, approachable, and good at explaining concepts, leading to strong teaching quality overall. The curriculum is regularly updated under JNTU-H guidelines and includes labs, projects, coding practices, and industry-oriented subjects that help students become job-ready, especially in CSE and ECE. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with internal assessment and lab exams helping students prepare, and while JNTUH university exams can sometimes be challenging and evaluation may feel strict, the college maintains a strong academic environment.

Good college for placements, poor at events, and good at academics.
Placements: Basically, everyone will get the opportunity for good placements. 85% are placed. The highest package is about 75 LPA, and the average package is in the 10-20 LPA range, the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top company hiring is Microsoft. An internship is fully based on the skills of students, it depends on them. A full-stack developer role is offered in top companies.
Infrastructure: Labs are very good compared to all EAMCET colleges. Wi-Fi connections also work very well. Infrastructure is okay. The hostel infrastructure and food are very good, the infrastructure is very well manufactured. Canteen food is also good, similar to home food. There will be a sports period once a week, and we have a cricket ground almost equal to a stadium.
Faculty: Teachers are very well acknowledged, certified, and qualified. The faculty is too friendly if you are good at studies. Bunking of classes is not possible, it is very strict, and it helps very much to get into placements. The semester is excellent, not difficult, not easy, and the pass percentage is about 90%.
Other: I chose CSE core because placements are good in CSE. Also it has technical theory, and proper timetable. I like being regular for classes. Events, fests are very poor, and also very rare.

The college is nature-friendly.
Placements: My course is introduced in the year 2023 in my college, so my seniors are the first batch in the college and will pass out in the year 2027. I do not have much idea about placements in this course. The recruiting company we can guess is TCS because Ratan Tata introduced our branch.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good and comfortable. There are no Wi-Fi issues in the college, labs, and classrooms. The library is very spacious, and the quality of food in the hostel as well as the canteen is very good. Medical facilities are also good, but sports and games are limited.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are really very knowledgeable and well qualified. The curriculum is also good. It makes students ready for the industry, and genuinely, teachers are very helpful to students in any aspect, not only in studies. The pass percentage of students is about 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to start my own business.

There is dissatisfaction because of the poor quality of the food.
Placements: 70 percent of people are placed in the CSE department course. The highest package is 80 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 10 LPA. TCS, Deloitte, and Amazon. 30 percent of students got an internship at Amazon and TCS. They offered roles in programming and coding.
Infrastructure: There is a canteen, hostel, medical room, sports, class, and Wi-Fi for the CSE department. There is a hostel facility, but there is no quantity of food available in the mess, and no access to remaining facilities like a medical room, sports, a Class, a library, and games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in understanding the concept, and they are qualified and knowledgeable professors, and the teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. There is more difficulty in semester exams in college. The passing percentage is 60 percent.
