Holistic growth and good placements at CVR.
Placements: Ours is the 2025 passout batch. There are good companies recruiting from the campus, provided you have good coding skills. The highest in-campus placement is of Commvault - 33 LPA, followed by Oracle - 18 LPA. The average package is around 5 LPA. The placement cell helps students a lot; they constantly encourage students to build their skills and teach us how to be job-ready. If a student has good coding skills - rankings and points on HackerRank, LeetCode, etc., along with Full Stack technologies, they are eligible to attend high-package companies. If you are not good in coding, you can get good jobs by showcasing the certification you've done and your problem-solving capabilities.
Infrastructure: The labs are equipped with decent computers and Wi-Fi. The library boasts a huge collection of books, and e-library access is provided. Hostellers have the advantage of playing sports inside the campus after college hours. We have a good cricket ground and volleyball courts. There are good teams participating in various tournaments regularly. An emergency ambulance is present along with a medical store. The hostel food is good, but the price is increasing every year.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified Ph.D. holders. The teaching process is more or less by the book. Most of the teachers show a presentation and read out from that. But they are knowledgeable and solve our doubts. The semester exams get tougher each year as the syllabus increases each year. Being an autonomous institute, question papers are set by our college.
Other: I chose IT to secure a good job in the software field. I wish we had a more real-time learning model in our curriculum. At times, the information seems bookish and difficult to understand.

The college atmosphere was great.
Placements: 53 percent of the students from my course got placed in the companies. The highest package from my course is 16 LPA, the average package was around 8 LPA, and the lowest package was around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft and TCS are from my course. 45 percent of the students got their internship certificates. Top roles in my course include leadership and mentor.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was too good; they are providing many facilities for the students like free Wi-Fi throughout the campus, many classrooms, seminar halls, auditoriums, etc. The quality of hostel management was good; the neatness in the kitchen was good, the quality of the food was also great. The canteen is maintaining the best environment. There are medical facilities for the students. Many sports like indoor and outdoor are played in the college.
Faculty: The teachers were great; they are highly qualified to teach and treat students in a friendly manner. The teaching quality was also great. Yes, this course curriculum is really important as it makes many students industry-ready. The semester exams are not difficult; one must understand the concepts. The pass percentage was around 79 percent.
Other: This course is evergreen because in the future, it is the basic need for the students, so I chose this course. The things like promoting the course for the new students to come. Events, fests, meetups, tours, farewells, and many other activities are conducted in the college.

Candidate must have scored minimum mentioned marks in the subjects specified (PCM) taken together at 10+2 pattern. Sorry to say, there are very less chances for you to get into it, because the cut off generally is high for it. It is around 7k for IT and 4K for CSE. Hope this was useful. All the best.

Yes, you can hope a seat. See, caste plays a major role if you are from OC it is difficult to get the seat in CSE or ECE. You can try for other branches.
