Review of D.D. Shinde Sarkar College.
Placements: The college has no placement facility. Also, there is no internship opportunity provided by the college. The college lacks a network and does not provide any exposure to its students. Most of my seniors start finding internships by themselves. I too have started doing the same.
Infrastructure: This college has the worst infrastructure. The walls are literally broken, the benches are old, and the blackboards have lost their blackness. There are no fans. Fun fact, this building is not owned by the college, it's rented. The college does not provide Wi-Fi. The washrooms are the worst. Boys have to pee on an open terrace. There is no library. Some cupboards are adjusted in the staff room from where students can rent books. There is not even parking for vehicles.
Faculty: It's so ironic that this college, being the only English medium arts college in Kolhapur, has faculty who can't even speak basic English. The curriculum is vintage, and there is nothing like skill-based learning. There are no skill enhancement activities taking place in the college. Just like the curriculum, faculty is vintage with a rusted thinking process. They do not respect their students and are very conservative.
Other: There are no best things about my course. The only good thing is that there are no attendance criteria. The exams are easy. In my suggestion, the course could be updated with current professional needs. The college organizes only one annual gathering, and it's funded by students' contributions. Even the Ras Dandiya and Farewell programs are funded by the students. Connectivity is not an issue. Bus stops like Chatrapati Shivaji Chauk, Shahu Maidan, and Dusra Chauk are just a few steps away. The college organizes the Socratic Club every Saturday. It's a good opportunity for students to speak up their thoughts.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: Our college has no placements. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Our college has average infrastructure. Our college infrastructure is old. Wi-Fi is not available throughout the campus. A canteen is not available. The quality of the food is good.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-educated. They are helpful. Most of them are M.A qualified. The curriculum makes students capable of their future growth. The pass percentage is 55%.
Other: I chose B. Com. to pursue future studies as a chartered accountant.
