Xavier's consistency in producing quality students continues.
Placements: St. Xavier's is known for its placement cell. Top MNCs and Indian companies like EY, KPMG, BCG, Deloitte, DE Shaw, and ICICI offer jobs with good fresher salaries. The highest package offered is 24 LPA, and the lowest offered is 3 LPA. On average, a salary of 5-6 LPA is offered. Companies like Morgan Stanley, Zomato, Salesforce, and Hindustan Unilever also offer internships and later a PPO through the placement cell. Top roles offered are analyst, consultant, relationship manager, talent acquisition HR, marketing, and business development.
Infrastructure: College is well-equipped with 2 multi-media rooms, 2 libraries, a multi-cuisine canteen, 2 computer labs, a Fintech lab, and a basketball and volleyball court, along with 60 classrooms. The college also has very well-equipped and accessible washrooms for the physically challenged. There is an in-built campus hostel just for boys. Student Wi-Fi is available, but with very less connectivity. There is also a gymkhana for exercise, yoga, and indoor sports.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are quite qualified with Masters or a Ph.D. degree. My course professors are quite approachable. Due to the autonomous nature of the college, the course is quite frequently updated with a moderate to high level of difficulty in the exam paper. The assignments assigned often include primary data collection, interviews, field visits, extensive research, and paper presentation seminars. All these factors make students industry-ready to face any pressure. The pass percentage is 95%.
Other: Xavier's is known for its campus life, as it has almost 15 fests and 25+ extracurricular and academic committees, making it a place for any and every person and the talent they possess. Fests like Malhar, IMG, and Ithaka induce an interest in the industry in students along with fun. I majored in Economics and Sociology. These two subjects helped me understand the why and how of human nature, their relationship with money and spending patterns, opening the doors of social impact consulting for me.

A very good and vibrant college.
Placements: Since Data Science and AI come under the IT sector, jobs related to the course are similar to IT and CS, but more focused on analyst, data scientist, and AI/ML roles. The highest package here was up to 20–24 LPA, but as always, it depends on the students. Internships start from the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: They provide a boys’ hostel but not a girls’ hostel. There is a good canteen that has every type of food basically. AC classrooms and labs, a good library, and a playground are available. They give students a mail ID and Wi-Fi as well. They are strict with attendance. The college gives a good historic vibe.
Faculty: Since I haven't met all the faculty yet, but those I have met already are really good and helpful. Precisely, they are very qualified and knowledgeable, and the main thing is they teach really well. I had almost all my lectures interactive. Exams are conducted fairly. The difficulty of exams depends. They are strict with attendance, so be careful and mindful.
Other: There are plenty of fests and campaigns happening almost every week. Y’all are free to participate. It’s a good crowd though. There are ECC activities to collect points, which are compulsory but also fun.

The college has its merits and demerits.
Placements: More or less, the internships are with Stanly Morgan, but the departmental internships are not up to par. It's better to find your own internships via LinkedIn. It is said that the companies are in plenty, but that feels like a lie. Overall, just because of the name, you can get placements wherever you want.
Infrastructure: There are no ACs, but the overall infrastructure is nice. The projector works fine. The Gymkhana is nice, and the sports in college are plentiful. The library has its own vibe; it feels like you are studying in Hogwarts, but the books are outdated in many aspects. The lending and reference libraries are two different libraries.
Faculty: It's more theoretical. It would be more practical to have real-life field visits, but the college doesn't have that. It gives you a better understanding of how real life works. Most of the faculty hired are real-life working professionals, and their insights help a lot.
Other: The fests are plentiful, but after a while, it feels forced to participate to earn ECC points.

It has a good canteen. The woods are the best place to sit, and all Xavierites will agree with me.
Placements: B.Com BAF, BMS, and MBA courses have a 0-1% placement chance. B.Com is nice as the timings are in the evening, so one can also pursue another professional course or do a part-time job. Many students pursue CS or CA, prepare for government exams, or prepare for the CAT exam. It’s helpful and great, but traveling is quite hectic as it’s an evening college.
Infrastructure: Okay, not that great. Hostels are for boys only. It's okay, but they should have hostels for girls as well, as many students come from different states. It’s difficult to find a safe place to stay. It’s also hard for parents to send their child to a completely different place.
Faculty: Teachers are nice, but the VP and the principal are not cooperative with students. Even when parents come to meet them, they do not resolve doubts or queries properly or provide any suggestions or solutions. However, teachers are more cooperative than the VP and the principal. They listen to our doubts and suggest necessary solutions.
Other: Overall, it is a nice college. Half of the time, there are fests going on, which causes a shortage of attendance among students.

Overall, the college is amazing.
Placements: Placements are nice, with a wide range of companies coming to campus to look for applicants and provide a decent package. It's a good college, and by being in Mumbai, it offers a wide range of companies coming to look for their new recruits. Definitely a good college.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure and hostel if you compare with other colleges. Clean drinking water, electricity, and all the necessary amenities are provided. The building and hostel are all clean and nicely maintained, and the food is not bad, it's better than other places I have tried.
Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified and have strong subject knowledge. They know how to teach in a way that students can easily understand, and they are very helpful at every step. Such cooperative teachers are rare in colleges, which is a good sign.
Other: It’s totally value for money in terms of studies, campus life, extracurricular activities, and networking with a lot of students from different places. One should aim for a college that gives maximum extracurricular opportunities, and this place is the one.

St. Xavier's College Mumbai.
Placements: There is no campus placement in my course as it is academically focused. However, other courses like BDA, XIC, and Management have placement opportunities. According to students from these courses, placements are great. Our professors provide various internship opportunities to enhance our knowledge.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-designed and includes ramps and lifts for specially-abled people. It sometimes gets congested during break time. The hostel is available only for boys in odd years and not for girls. The area around the college is slightly expensive, with PG prices starting from Rs.14,000 for double sharing.
Faculty: Exams are conducted in three levels with CIA 1 and 2 for 20 marks each and the end-semester exam for 60 marks. Studies are taken seriously and 75% attendance is mandatory. Students also go on trips to various sites like Dholavira, Elephanta Caves, and Kanheri Caves as per subject requirements. The passing percentage for exams is 40%.
