Our college has one part-time placement faculty member, and our college does not give enough importance to placements.

Value for money, decent crowd, and great campus.
Placements: The Placement committee is not that active, but the referrals I got are crazy. You can ask the faculty to help you out, and they will try their best to land you a good job. They have workshops for interviews, and they are quite impressive. Learned so much from there.
Infrastructure: My favourite thing about the college is the campus. A huge campus with a lively feeling and open air. The campus is so spacious and cool. Almost all of my other friends from different colleges were quite jealous of my campus when I used to show them the picture.
Faculty: Teachers are not that involved, but if you show interest, they will guide you well. All of them have an excellent experience and love their job, and they actually enjoy teaching. They are cool for most of the part. Very helpful and supportive too.
Other: This college is so much value for money. I cannot believe I completed my education at that cost. The amount of money spent there is nothing compared to the education and the university status I gained. Memories are a bonus. I will vouch for this college in terms of monetary value.

I am satisfied because of the green environment of the college and events.
Placements: Right now, I am in my 3rd year so I am not yet aware of placement. I have heard from my seniors that 20% of students got placed in our department. Till now I have not seen any company in my college or any kind of internships provided by our college. I guess our college should work more on placements as our college students mostly rely on college placements.
Infrastructure: The canteen is not great in our college. There are many sports activities but do not participate in sports so I am not aware of it much. Classrooms are okay. There is no internet access. The library is quite large and well-stocked. We don't have a hostel facility.
Faculty: Many of the teachers are already the students of this college. They know the college well. Staff members are very friendly. Exams are conducted every semester and I feel in B.Com you can score easily as some of the teachers also provide a question bank before exams. Semester exams are not that difficult. B.Com courses have no value frankly speaking this course cannot make a student industry-ready. If you are pursuing some professional course like CA and CS, just for degree purposes you can opt for this course.
Other: I chose this course as I was pursuing CA along with this course. There are many cultural events and competitions held in this college. Our college is well known for the campus as the campus is very huge. You are surrounded by a green environment so it is very peaceful. The connectivity is great as it is very close to Matunga station, you just need to cross the bridge.

I love the campus and the college.
Placements: The college provides excellent opportunities to learn about the course by conducting courses apart from academics. But it does not help much with the placements of Bachelor's students, as multiple students opt for this degree. The college and the department help students with various courses outside academics, along with the certification, which can be helpful to students for further employment.
Infrastructure: The college has good classrooms, a very big and well-maintained campus. The college also has a good library along with a reading hall where students can sit and study anytime during the college hours. The canteen food is also very good and has a decent taste.
Faculty: Teachers here have good knowledge of what they are teaching. They are well-qualified and helpful, too. Teachers do help students here by conducting various certification courses as well. Semester exams in the college are neither too difficult but also not very easy.
Other: I chose this course as it offered me a single major. The college also conducts fests through various departments.

Good infrastructure and active campus.
Placements: D. G. Ruparel College B.Sc. PCM (FY) placements are limited. Around 10–15% secure jobs in IT, finance, and analytics. The highest package is 6–8 LPA, the lowest is 2–3 LPA, and the average is 3.5–5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, banks, and labs. Internships are 20–30% in IT, labs, and finance. The top roles are Analyst, Researcher, and Technician. Best for higher studies.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a resourceful library. Wi-Fi is available but consistent. The hostel is basic, the mess food is average, and the canteen is affordable. Medical facilities are adequate. Sports facilities include cricket, football, and indoor games.
Faculty: In academics and exams, teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good with practical-based learning. The curriculum is relevant but needs industry-specific updates. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage of around 75–85%.
Other: Academics and student life batch and course is B.Sc. PCM (FY). I chose this course because of my interest in science and a strong base for higher studies. Improvements in industry skills and better placements. Campus life is active fests, good crowds, and decent connectivity. Extra-curricular activities are scholarships, clubs, sports, and cultural events.

I am dissatisfied because of the poor management system and not-so-good faculty.
Placements: Around 5% of students get placed with a minimum stipend of Rs 10,000 per month. Many would try to acquire internships on or off campus. Top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys, Accenture, etc. Our college has not been providing many internships for the past few years so I don't know much about the current situation.
Infrastructure: Labs are not that good most computers won't even start. We don't get a network inside the classroom. In this college, Wi-Fi is not available for students. Overall, the college is very good for all students in Mumbai, and it provides a lot of other curricular activities for building the confidence of students. Inter-college games like cricket, volleyball, basketball, and badminton are also conducted by management. Many activities are conducted to enhance students' performance in the curriculum.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful but not that much as they all just wanted to get rid of the study portion not all though some do. Guest lectures are also organised where people from the corporate field as well as from various specialisations are invited, which makes the subject interesting and easy to understand.
Other: Some complain about staff behavior, with reports of rudeness and lack of support from certain faculty members. Limited extracurricular activities and events. Potential issues with admission procedures and communication with the office staff. I have seen teachers taunting students after events to make reels. Studies are not that important.

An honest review - D. G. Ruparel College.
Placements: Around 5% of students get placed with the minimum stipend of Rs 10,000 per month. Many would try to acquire internships on or off campus. Top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys, Accenture, etc. Our college has not been providing many internships for the past few years so I don't know much about the current situation. Top roles offered in my course would be software developer, web developer, data scientist, network administration, database administration, cyber-security analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available and not much range is found in the classrooms. Classrooms are big and well accommodating. Computers in our labs sometimes stop working but overall it is still pretty good. Hostel facilities seem okay and some of the canteen food is really great, pocket friendly, and healthy. Being an athlete, the ground is my favorite place. We get to play after 3:00 PM and it is great. A lot of games including both indoor and outdoor games are available. May it be any sport, the gymkhana department is very supportive.
Faculty: I was very sick the past few months and all my teachers were very supportive and helped me learn better. They are helpful, qualified, and very knowledgeable. They adjust their teaching technique according to the student's manner of accepting it. Initially, we had a few subjects that I felt were irrelevant but they are making us industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate to difficult and we have a good passing percentage.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the cyber field and I am hoping to achieve it too. The best thing about my course is that the study makes my mind work better and makes me want to do something. I only wish that teachers would be a little more considerate regarding the students. We have events like saree day, traditional day, mismatch day, bollywood day, and many more. Aarambh fest is there along with dot tech and Udyojak. Campus crowd is okay and the scholarships are helpful as well.
