It is the best college in Kamrup.

Placements: It is a government college, so it does not provide placements. After obtaining valuable degrees in humanities, science, or commerce, students get jobs. Students can get internships in local shops and malls.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Our college provides many facilities like free Wi-Fi, a library, canteen, sports complex, gym, auditorium, basketball court, park with trees, etc. There are not many digital classrooms and halls in our college.

Faculty: All professors are very smart, talented, and helpful. They are very sincere. The syllabus and course curriculum are good. The course is provided by Gauhati University. It's difficult to pass exams without studying or paying attention in class.

Other: Our college conducts festivals, freshers' parties, farewell parties, college weeks, and cultural fests for students to show their creativity and talent.

Dakshin Kamrup College : An Overview of My Old College.

Placements: It is a government college. So there is no internship or placement for B.A. degree but it the degree from this college can help you get a good job opportunity. I did my B.A. in English Literature from DKC and I thank my professors for teaching me with passion. The course is very knowledgeable for those who are interested in Literature and writing.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good with green environment and modern architecture. There is free Wi-Fi for students, a canteen, a garden cum park, conference hall, auditorium and many more sports related things. Also a library and a basketball court, ond badminton court, common rooms for boys and girls, digital classrooms etc.

Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and smart. Maximum of the professors have Ph.D. Degree in their respective subject. They build and teach us to be future proof. There are lots of courses and programs available for you to study and gain knowledge. Semester exams are pretty tough and competitive to test your knowledge and understanding of the course.

Other: Life in DKC was cool and fun. Studying there for 5 years, really helped me a lot to build myself better. There was everything a student needs. The college organises events like Freshers' Party, College Wesk, Cultural Really and other functions. It provides you scholarships as well.

A college providing B.Com courses at an affordable price and with extremely good facilities.

Placements: On average, approximately 10% of students from the college are placed in our course. In the beginning, they offer a package of INR. 5000 (the lowest), and INR 12000 (the highest). Approximately 40% of Students get an internship from my course. And it is a very nice thing, students get self-employed.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities for our department like eg. Library, Digital Classes, WI-FI, etc. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is pretty decent. The quality of the food provided by the hostel is pretty good and healthy. Medical facilities are also available in our hostel.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful towards their students. The Teachers are well qualified and they give us so much good practical knowledge. Their teaching is top-notch. Semester exams are a little bit difficult but all the questions that occur in the exams always come from inside the book. Approximately 80% of students pass.

Other: I want to get a job in the banking sector as a Bank Manager., so I choose this course for practical knowledge regarding my aim in life.

This college needs to take the initiative to grow its achievements.

Placements: Students were placed through their own struggle and consistency. There was no campus placement or other support. By doing this course, they could apply for various posts relevant to the course.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs were okay, but some practical apparatus wasn't working properly. The library had enough books and resources which helped during the course. The hostel quality was okay but not as expected. In other areas, games and sports were good. The canteen was also hygienic.

Faculty: The teaching quality was good. Faculty members were excellent and experienced in their domain. This course did not make students industry-ready, it only provided the degree. The semester exams were of moderate to hard level. Around 95 to 99% of students passed the semester exams. Courses were relevant to some significant jobs. Teachers and seniors were also cooperative with juniors. They could pursue higher studies in relevant subjects.

Absolutely Great I recommend to go there .

Placements: The percent of students were placed is something 667 students. The highest package course price is 1.5k month and the lowest is 500month. The britinia is a ambassador of our college. In Flipkart, isro there company got students jobs so its so good as you think.

Infrastructure: The facelitice is so good there having free Wi-Fi and advance Labs the college is so neat and clean the staff are so good the Student are good the classes system are so advance there are lot of space to park your car, bike etc. So its so good I recommend to admit.

Faculty: The teacher are so helpful and knowledgeable The course are little bit Difficult but its so good The boc means the Bachelor of commerce teachers are so good they give free internship to students there organised Fresher for the students so its so good .

Other: I choose this course because I want to become entrepreneur.

A really good college. A good infrastructure. We can get all the facilities.

Placements: First of all as there are many courses in my college, i would like to address the facilities of dept of chemistry. A total of 127 students r persuing this couse. Companies that recruits every year are indian oil,pharma company,cosmetic companies etc. Average package 30k-80k. Top roles that were offered to the candidates were manager,data operator,worker,etc. Hope this review will help the other peoples..

Infrastructure: A very vast and a beautiful infrastructure that can be seen in our college. While talking about the facilities we have free wifi,labs for all the science departments,each departments has there respective classrooms. Their is a library where we can find all the useful books. While talking about hostel i can rate it 4/5. We can find quality food in the mess and canteen. We have a free medical facility near the girl's hostel.

Faculty: Teacher's play a very important role in our college.. They are friendly in nature and helps us with our problems. Not only in classrooms but also in life.. By their support many students succeeded in thier life and now those students were helping to grow the nation stronger. Each semester has two exams sessional examination held by college itself and the finals held by the affiliated University.

Other: There are many activities that are held every year in our college.. some of the examples are huge freshers program to welcome all the higher secondary students. Sports week, quiz,debate compititions,drawing/painting compitition. Road drama play,awarness programs etc..
