It provides good studies and facilities are at low cost.

Infrastructure: In this college, the facilities are not good but it is average. The classes are good for studies where teachers are interactive.

Minimalist, all the things are average in this college, noy so good and not too bad.

Infrastructure: During our course, facilities and infrastructure were not so good, and the departmental facilities were like medium range and labs. Labs and Wi-Fi were not available, but they had been fully updated by the time our course ended. During our course, they were updating the facilities bit by bit, and by the end, the updates were complete. I didn’t stay in the hostel, but I know that facilities there were appropriate. Type of education depends on the student.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities are provided over here like big classrooms and well-organised labs. Food in canteen is average in respect to its price and the same goes for the hostel. And medical facilities are worse and cannot be trusted, for medical facilities it's is better to get your own.

Darjeeling Polytechnic College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

After 10th DiplomaCandidate must have passed the 10th standard (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics among others as subjects securing at least 35% marks (no rounding up) in aggregate as per AICTE norms excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional. Candidates appearing in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in 2021 with English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics among others as subjects may also apply. However, conforming to the benchmark of 35% marks (no rounding up as per AICTE norms) in aggregate excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional, is a must, failing which candidature is liable to be cancelled even after selection in JEXPO-2021. Candidate should not be born after 01.07.2006 and there is no upper age limit.
