Dispur College is absolutely a good college, and faculty members are friendly in nature.

Placements: Dispur College has no placement cell, which is a disadvantage for students as it is not a high-profile college. Dispur College is a government-affiliated college. It provides scholarships and extra-curricular skills for the development of students for future placements but does not directly offer placements.

Infrastructure: Dispur College is situated in the middle of Guwahati city. The college ground is small, but the infrastructure is in good condition and clean. The college has a library, medical facilities, a moderately good food canteen, a hostel for girls, a computer lab, and various cells such as the anti-ragging cell, women’s cell, NAAC, and NCC. There are also many extra-curricular courses provided for students to gain skills like English communication, competitive exam preparation, banking, and arts. Sports and a gym are also available.

Faculty: The teachers at Dispur College are highly qualified and professional. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The semester exams are difficult according to the course level, and the pass percentage is 30.

Other: Dispur College falls under Gauhati University and is a government college. The college provides scholarships for fee waivers and financial aid to students, as well as rewards for the highest-scoring students. The college also conducts various events such as freshers’ parties, farewell parties, and cultural meets.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2023, not really good infrastructure.

Placements: None of the students were offered placement because there was no placement drive or anything in the entire college history. They didn't teach us good skills to provide any additional information about the situation required in the modern environment to understand things around us.

Infrastructure: There's no hostel facility available at the college. The college doesn't have its own grounds. Medical facilities were not available inside the college compound. No Wi-Fi was available inside the college. The infrastructure was not up to standard.

Faculty: Teachers were not up to the mark of other colleges, and they didn't have the skills to teach students professionally. Teachers were not bothered about the skills of the students they were teaching, like kids at school giving notes rather than increasing skills.

Other: I chose the college only because of the lower fees, which was my worst mistake.

Not good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Very poor placement records. Students are very poor in studies and drop out in 1st year or second year due to poor quality teaching and infrastructure. Hardly any successful student is there from our course and this is because of the teachers and their carelessness.

Infrastructure: Poor infrastructure, no canteen, no medical facility. It is B graded by NAAC and it is a very pathetic college. No library facility. Nothing is attractive in this college. A person's home is more disciplined than this college. Students attend fewer classes due to the absence of teachers.

Faculty: Very bad faculty not taking any classes. Have to return without attending classes as teachers are absent. Very bad way exam was conducted. Cheating is promoted as teachers don't teach anything and allow students to cheat to hide their negligence and keep somewhat of their so-called reputation alive.

Other: Our course is very good but the college and faculty are pathetic.

It is a government college so I like this college.

Placements: Around 70% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA. The recruiting companies were less number, and around 30% of students got internships in our courses.

Infrastructure: This college is good. The infrastructure was very beautiful and natural. In our college, around 10 courses were available. In our course, the laboratories, classrooms, library, and Wi-Fi were available. The hostel facilities were also available. For girls and boys, separate hostels were available. The food quality was good and hygienic. It provides canteen, medical, sports, games, and ATM.

Faculty: In our courses, around 10 faculty members were available. All faculty members were good and helpful. They were highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. This course curriculum was relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams were difficult in this college. But good for the student to gain knowledge. The pass percentage was 90-95%.

Other: My dream was to do a marketing job so I chose this course. The best thing was to gain many industries-related knowledge in this course, and all were good in our course. Our university organised a talent tantra, and a big event fest was held where famous singers and actors came. An annual week and other events i.e extra curricular activity was also held in this college.

The faculty members are very good.

Placements: 30% of students got placed in our course. Around 30 companies come for our course. Good roles are offered to the students.

Infrastructure: Arts, humanities, social sciences, commerce, computer applications and IT courses are offered in our college. Management and business administration is also offered. The library is very good and huge. Students get useful books from the library. Medical facilities are not that good. Sports like cricket, football, kho-kho, and kabaddi are held in the college. The classrooms are not that large but are in good condition. The canteen serves paratha, snacks, tea, sweets, cold drinks etc. Till now, I haven't faced any issues in our college.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are well-qualified. They use simple methods to teach us so that the students can easily understand and learn things. Teaching quality is good. This course is relevant.

Other: I love this subject because that subject is helpful for my future. It is very good.

Faculty are good. We can get a job after graduation. Facilities are not that good.

Placements: There are no placements for our batch. Seniors got placements in different sectors. Students should have an aggregate of 60% at least per semester to get placements. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest offered was Rs. 8,000 per month. Companies like Harley Davidson, ITC, etc., visit the campus for placements. Roles like accounting, loan officer, and HR are offered to placed students. There is no placement cell in the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Free Wi-Fi facility is provided to students in the college. Labs are good and well-maintained. The library is very good and large. Students get useful books from the library. Medical facilities are not that good. Sports like cricket, football, kho-kho, and kabaddi are held in the college. Classrooms are not that large but are in good condition. The canteen serves paratha, snacks, tea, sweets, cold drinks, etc. Till now, I haven't faced any issues in the college.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are well-qualified. They use simple methods to teach us, so students easily learn the things. Teaching quality is good as they try to teach in every possible way so that students easily get the things. Industry exposure is available for masters courses and BBA, and other fields didn't get much exposure.

Other: The government provides scholarships to students. In the third semester, students who scored good marks get the scholarship. Events like freshers, farewell, teachers day, other religious events, magazine events, etc., are held in this college. Extracurricular activities like NCC and games like cricket, football, and gym are available.
