The MTech syllabus is not similar in all the Indian colleges. Division of Agriculture Engineering has specializations such as M.E./M.Tech specializations in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering, Power Engineering, Food Technology, B.Tech specializations in Agriculture & Farm Engineering.

BTech courses do offer a variety of electives for you to opt for in the 5th and 6th semesters, where you get the chance to pick a specific subject that interests you more and is easy-going for you.
