Amazing faculty but not satisfied with the placement options.
Placements: As for the Commerce department, there aren't many placement options except the local companies like Lally Motors, Paras Valve, etc. But if you are looking for an institution that could provide deep knowledge of the curriculum, it would be a great option, and also there are a lot of scholarships for the underprivileged students, so it would be a great match for you then.
Infrastructure: The canteen facility is really good. It has improved a lot in the recent years. The hostel rooms are a bit costly as you have to pay the hostel and mess fees even when you are on vacation. The sports facilities are quite good. There is badminton, a volleyball court, and coaches. There is also a swimming pool that is open for both males and females at separate timings, but these facilities are not complimentary but paid.
Faculty: The faculty members of this college are really good. The teachers are well qualified and very helpful. I have done my graduation from the same college. They have helped me a lot throughout the session. The semester exams contain 70% of the total syllabus. The pass percentage is the same as the final exams, and also you have to pay a fine if you do not pass the house examinations.
Other: There are a lot of events that keep happening in the college, and everyone is given the same chance to volunteer for the events. One such event is "Gyan Ganga," where the school students are invited to college to participate in various events, and all the departments have to guide the children through various types of courses they can enroll in as per their interests. And also, Doaba College offers a 20% scholarship to students who score above 80% in the final examination.

Teaching quality is good at this college, and teachers are well-educated and helpful.
Placements: I am pursuing post-graduation from Doaba College, Jalandhar. Placements through this college in a good company are difficult. You cannot expect to get a job in a reputed company from this college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are maintained properly in this college, and the library has a wide variety of books. The computer lab is up to date for giving any presentations. The Wi-Fi facility on the campus is poor, so studying online in college is not possible. The college is good in sports, and it also has a swimming pool. Canteen of our college is bad.
Faculty: Teachers in our 1st year of M.Com are intelligent, and their teaching style is very good. They made learning easy for everyone. The information they provide makes students industry-ready. Some teachers do counselling of students to help them understand the outer world. Commerce staff members in this college are the best, and lecturers are intelligent and helpful.
