B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029

Great faculty, infra, tech fests, good seniors, near metro, little social life.
Placements: Around 70–80% of students get placed according to previous data. The highest package is 54 LPA according to the college, but this is an off-campus placement, not on-campus. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. Companies like Infosys and Accenture visit the campus. Around 50–60% of students get internships, mostly in startups, with roles such as software engineer and software developer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available on every floor. Classrooms are good, but not like top colleges. The library is also good. The food in the canteen is not very good. Medical facilities are available, but I have not needed them. The medical room is on the ground floor in front of the auditorium. Sports facilities are very good. Most students participate and win medals, trophies, and cash prizes.
Faculty: Most teachers have a Master’s degree in their subject, though some have only a graduate degree. I think this course is relevant, but the most important thing is improving your own skills. Semester exams are easy to moderate, and teachers are helpful, do not cut extra marks, and support students in their studies whenever needed.
Other: I chose B.Tech in CSE because I am interested in computer languages and learning how applications work. This field is in demand both now and in the future. I am improving myself through this course. The college does not provide many extracurricular activities, which is the worst thing about it.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) (Lateral Entry) - Batch of 2028
2.6
3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
Overcrowded college with average class sizes.
Placements: Placement rates are around 30 to 40 percent, depending on the branch and year. Around 2.5 to 3.5 LPA is the minimum. Around 4.5 LPA is average. You wont see companies like Google or Microsoft for placement, sometimes Google Summer internship comes. Byjus, Walmart, American Express, Tavisca Solutions, Federal Bank, Josh Teach, PepCoding, and FreeCharge are coming for placement.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average. My class is conducted in a hall, and when some programs happen, we have to leave the class and move to another class. There is Wi-Fi in the library, but most of the time it does not connect, and your own phones network does not come up properly. Library is small and overcrowded.
Faculty: Teachers are young, and most of them do not have more than 10 years of experience. Some industrial visits happen, and certificates are given. Lateral entry students may find it hard to accommodate here, especially students from the Bihar side, who may feel discriminated against.
Other: If regular classes and effective classes start, then improvement will be seen. If less students are enrolled, it will be best.

Great college with good infrastructure and the faculty foster extracurricular activities.
Placements: Around 70 students got placed from the course. Female candidates were placed with good packages. The highest package is 5.0 LPA. Companies like Infosys hire students. Around 60 percent of students got a legitimate internship certificate. A software developer role is offered to students.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and facilities. It has a Wi-Fi-enabled campus with good speed. There are proper labs for every subject. The quality of water and food in the canteen is good for the price. The college is known for fostering sports and games. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are humble, qualified, and knowledgeable about their niche. The teaching quality is great. Teachers are friendly and less pressurising. The course curriculum is up to GGSIPU. Semester exams are of moderate level difficulty. They are serious about teaching.
Other: Faculty members and the future scope are the best parts of my course. The course could be better with more depth in concepts. The college organises different fests ranging from tech events to cultural events. The faculty fosters extracurricular activities, and GGSIPU provides excellent scholarships.

A good option in Delhi NCR with good placements and supportive faculty.
Placements: I'm from the 2025-29 batch, B.Tech first year, so the information below is based on what seniors from the previous batch shared with me. Around 80 to 90 percent of students got placed from our course. The rate may change according to skills and branch, but overall, the result is good for a private partnership college in Delhi NCR. The highest package is around 48 LPA from Microsoft. The average package is around 6 LPA. The lowest package is around 3 LPA. Some companies that regularly visit the campus are: TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Infosys, Airtel, and Cognizant.
Infrastructure: The campus is decent and clean, with all the basic facilities we need. It's not very big, but the environment feels good. Students often hang out around the canteen and other common areas. Classrooms and labs are also decent enough, the food in the canteen is also good, not so expensive, and not so cheap.
Faculty: From my experience as a first-year student, I would say that teachers are helpful and quite approachable. Most of them are well qualified and have good knowledge of their subjects. Teaching quality is decent, some teachers explain concepts really well and in depth, while a few teachers are more theory-focused. The curriculum is updated and follows the guidelines of GGSIPU. It covers both theoretical and practical subjects. Semester exams are moderate, they are neither too easy nor too difficult. If you regularly attend classes and make notes, then passing the exam is not a big problem.

Decent college if you have a low rank in JEE.
Placements: This is our second batch of AID. However, in the first batch, nearly 50 percent of students got placed. The highest placement is from Google (off campus). Meanwhile, on campus, it is around 20 LPA. Most students get placed at 3–4 LPA in mass recruiters like TCS and Wipro. The key roles offered here are software tester or software engineering roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent here. They claim to have free Wi-Fi, however, it is only for college administration. There are no hostels in the college, so students from outside Delhi usually live in rented PGs and hostels near the college. There are pretty decent sports facilities available in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and know their syllabus and what they are teaching. AID is an emerging field, so I am pretty hopeful about it and think it is going to boom in the upcoming future. Semester exams are not very difficult, and most students easily pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course because it is the best available option for my rank. The best thing about my course is that the market for data scientists is booming, so I am hopeful. There are not many events in my college. There is a DJ night, but no external artists usually come here.

Pretty decent college if you have a not-so-good JEE rank.
Placements: Nearly 50 percent of students are placed in our batch, with an average package of around 3–4 LPA, mainly through mass recruiters like TCS and Wipro. The top recruiting companies are Josh (20 LPA) on campus and Amazon off campus. Talking about internships, there are no internships provided by the college itself, you have to find them on your own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty decent, and so are the classrooms. There are no hostels, so if you are from outside Delhi, you have to look for PGs or hostels near the college. Wi-Fi is available but only for faculty usage. The labs are pretty decent, and almost every piece of equipment is present there.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, and they know what they are teaching. The course curriculum is pretty relevant, as the name suggests information technology, where we study about computers, coding, and related topics. Semester exams are not very difficult, you just have to give 1–1.5 hours after classes every day to excel in exams.
Other: I chose this course because it was best suited for my rank, and I also wanted to pursue my bachelor’s degree in something related to coding and computers in general. I wish the placement scenario and internship part of this college could be better. Regarding events, there are mostly DJ nights, and usually no artists come to this college.
