It's a decent college with nice infrastructure and facilities and good faculty members.
Placements: 20% of students are placed. The highest salary is 32 LPA, the lowest salary is 2.5 LPA, and average salary is 4 LPA. Recruiting companies are Infosys and TCS. 5% of students got internships at Soft Pro and Smart Intern. Top roles offered in our course are data analyst, data scientist, business analyst, data analyst, data scientist, and business analyst.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. Infrastructure is also good. Each class has AC and library has AC and Wi-Fi for students. Good facilities in the hostel too. Wi-Fi is there for students. It has security and requirements. It provides nice quality food. Average medical and sports and games facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good and qualified. It is relevant to our course. If students learn all those things very well and develop skills. Exams are mid to high difficulty according to AKTU exam pattern. 33% marks are required to pass. 100% of students pass.
Other: Data science is a new branch with much scope. Learning could be more effectively and practically performed. Several events take place in various societies, sports fests, and tech fests. Crowd is okay. Various scholarships are provided to students.

It is good in terms of everything except crowd.
Placements: About 20% of students are placed right now and the number is increasing. The lowest package is 2 LPA, average package is 3.5 LPA, and the highest package is 32 LPA. Infosys recruit most of the students. Our college provides internships such as summer internships from Soft Pro, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good but infrastructure can be improved such as toilets and labs are good. But their equipment is not updated. Wi-Fi facility is bad as we have to go to central lab to make pure device connect and it is only provided in library. Classroom is good. Library is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and helpful in every aspect. But there is some practicality in terms of marks and attendance that can be noticed. The curriculum is up to date providing the best practices. They provide extra training to make us industry-ready. Exams are good, and pass percentage is 100%.
Other: Its future aspect is good. It has more placement drive. It is all good here.

AKTU's teaching is outdated, exams are random, and overall, it is a very poor university.
Placements: Our branch is Data Science, which is a new branch, so the number of students is less. Placements at our college are not much special, as is the happens in all private colleges. However, last year 2024, one student received a package of 33 LPA, but the average package is around 3 to 4 LPA. If students want internships, they have to find them on their own, as the college does not provide any opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, with whiteboards and two ACs in each classroom. Our HOD is good. Some teachers rely on YouTube to teach, while others are truly knowledgeable and don’t even need books. The hostel facilities are decent, there are five boys’ hostels two for 1st years and three for seniors and one girls’ hostel with separate floors for each year. The mess food is okay not great, but manageable if you enjoy ghee. Otherwise, you’ll probably end up ordering Domino’s often. Overall, it’s a mix of average and good, with room for improvement but some genuinely great aspects.
Faculty: As I mentioned earlier, some teachers are good while others rely on YouTube to teach. The college follows the university’s outdated and ineffective curriculum. Everything feels irregular, but there’s no one to complain to since the university itself is poorly managed. Honestly, private universities like SRM are way better. And don’t even get me started on the exams. AKTU sets random papers without considering the syllabus. In the 2025 first-year, first-semester chemistry exam, nothing was from what was taught. Even YouTube teachers joke that AKTU must have been high while setting it. Overall, AKTU is a very disappointing university.

Infrastructure is good, not too good, but teachers are humble towards students.
Placements: The highest package in 2020 was 35 lakhs, while the average package is around 10 lakhs. The lowest package is expected to be 5 lakhs per annum. Top recruitment companies include TCS, IBM, Accenture, QSpider, and many others. In 2023, 400 students were hired, and in 2022, approximately 500 students were hired. The average package is projected to be 25 lakhs.
Infrastructure: Classrooms for first-year students are excellent, featuring AC, the best faculty members, and improved laboratories. Labs have all the necessary facilities and are well-maintained. Digital panels are available for teaching, and Wi-Fi is significantly better. Hostels are available on the college campus; the hostel buildings are excellent, and the mess is clean with better food options in some buildings. There are 10 hostels on campus, and they are well-maintained with all the necessary facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very kind, helpful, and approachable. They assist students at any time. Semester exams can be difficult if you are not well prepared. The teaching quality is excellent. The college is affiliated with AKTU University. Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The pass percentage in the semester exams is 95%, and you can pass the course with a minimum number of marks.
Other: The Information Technology branch is NBA-accredited in this college, and the facilities in this building are good. Many teaching events happen at this college every month. Scholarships are also available. The college campus is clean. The basketball court is available.

If you're an average student and didn’t score well in the JEE, you can consider this college.
Placements: 50–60% of the students get placed. Some of them end up in sales companies. Even though companies come for placements, they don’t select everyone. Getting placed usually means securing a package of around 4 to 5 Lacs per annum. Sometimes, good companies visit our campus. If you work hard on your own, you can secure a good placement. For example, last year, one of our seniors got an on-campus placement with commvault at a package of 34 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is not very good. The first-year classes are quite decent, and the first-year block even has a lift. However, the other buildings, like those for third and fourth-year students, are not well-maintained. The classrooms there are not in good condition, and the ACs don’t function properly. On the positive side, we do get proper Wi-Fi in the hostel, and the mess food is average.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable too. Final semester exams are not too difficult to pass; you just have to score 21 out of 70, and the checking of copies is very lenient. The teaching and academics here are not fully aligned with industry requirements. You have to learn everything on your own, like DSA, practice problems, and other relevant skills if you want to enter the industry. If you rely solely on what the college provides academically, you will most likely not get placed.

Placements: The college placed over 300 students, with the highest package of 34 LPA offered by Commvault in 2024. Top recruiters include Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, Byju’s, and HDFC.
Infrastructure: The academic environment at RKGIT is strong, with well-educated teachers. The placement scenario is impressive, with the highest on-campus package being 34 LPA. The campus is highly disciplined, and there is no ragging. The facilities are well-maintained, and the faculty is knowledgeable. The library system is excellent, with all necessary books available. Our labs are well-equipped, and teachers ensure that students enjoy practical sessions. If you're a good student, the teachers are always willing to help.
Faculty: Some faculty members can be unhelpful when it comes to solving doubts. I feel the fees should be lowered to make it more affordable for students. The sessional exams are excessive, with four exams per semester, which can be overwhelming. The canteen resembles a marketplace, and the food quality could be better. The ground is small, and there haven't been improvements made. However, as engineering students, I think this is just a small part of the challenges we face in our field.
Other: The focus on programming languages and software development is one of the reasons I chose this course. In the first year, you'll be taught a range of subjects relevant to all B.Tech branches, including C programming. By the second year, core subjects specific to CSE are introduced, and in the third and fourth years, preparation for placements alongside core subjects is emphasized.
