It is the best Diploma college in Kolhapur.

Placements: Our college always has the best placement record. Students get placed across India in different MNCs. Last year, 90% of students got placed in MNCs with the highest package of 4.5 LPA, which is decent for a Diploma holder. The lowest package offered last year was 2 LPA which is also not a bad offer. The top recruiting companies are Bharat Forge, TCS etc. Many students got internships in top MNCs.

Infrastructure: Our college has the best campus in West Maharashtra. It is one of the best Polytechnic colleges in Kolhapur as well as Maharashtra. We 24/7 Wi-Fi available on our campus. We have well-designed labs and libraries. The campus is green and attractive. The college has won many awards for its green campus. The hostel has A1 quality with 100% student safety and has an anti-ragging cell to safeguard students from ragging.

Faculty: The faculty members at D.Y. Patil Polytechnic Kolhapur are well-known in Kolhapur. More than 50% of the faculty are PhD holders. The faculty members are very friendly and easy to interact with. They are always helpful to students. They always encourage students to do innovative things. The course curriculum is designed by MSBTE itself. It is very relevant to the ongoing industry. The semester exams are very tough. To pass the exams, you have to study throughout the year.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering because I have big dreams. I want to start my own workshop, and I want to grow as a mechanical engineer. The best thing about the course is the faculty. The faculty members are always helpful to students. There is nothing that needs to be improved in my course. Our college arranges various tech and social events, which helps students to grow as an all-rounder.
