Good teaching and infrastructure, but placement needs improvement.

Placements: Placements for the Mechanical branch are limited. Very few companies visit the campus, and most of them are small-scale industries offering low salary packages. Students who want good jobs need to focus on improving skills on their own instead of fully depending on college placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the Mechanical Engineering course is good. The labs and workshops are well-equipped with machines like lathes, drilling, and welding setups. Classrooms are clean and Wi-Fi is available, though sometimes slow. The library has enough books, but it needs regular updates.

Faculty: The faculty in the Mechanical Engineering department is well-qualified and supportive. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and also help with practicals and projects. The curriculum is based on MSBTE and covers core subjects like thermodynamics, manufacturing processes, and design, which are useful for industry skills.

Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering because it has a wide scope in both industries and higher education. The best thing about this course is the practical learning through workshops and lab work. We get hands-on experience with machines, which helps in understanding real engineering concepts.
