Placements: The S & SS Ghandhy College is a very old and reputed institution in Surat, Gujarat. The college has an excellent placement drive on campus. After completing a Diploma or degree, well-known companies visit for placement drives. For freshers in Surat, the average package is 1.4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is old-fashioned, as it is the oldest college in Surat. However, they provide quality education and have well-educated faculty members. They offer hostel facilities for students coming from outside Surat, and a mess facility is available at the hostel campus.

The best college in Surat for engineering.
Placements: According to reports, the placement percentage is 70–80%. Recruiters include AM/NS, L&T, and others. Most companies offer the role of junior engineer. The highest package is 3 LPA, and the lowest is 1.44 LPA. Almost 60–70% of students get internships from the college.
Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure and facilities, offering a wide range of engineering courses. It also provides government services such as wi-fi availability. The classrooms are top-notch, and the library is exceptional. There is no availability of a canteen in Polytechnic College.
Faculty: All of the faculty members are very well educated and qualified, and their teaching quality is the best. The industry provides input to colleges to shape their curriculum to suit their needs, based on which colleges train students. There are two semesters and two internal exams conducted by the college and university.
Other: I knew I wanted to pursue a career in engineering, so I chose the information technology course because it would support this. The course helped me grow in my career; I always had an interest in this field.

That was amazing journey for poor student like me to catch a successful toes by myself.
Placements: There were 50 percent students were placed in that course that I studied, for the reason of pandemic (corona) we weren't offered any kind of package, 20 percent of students got internship after self-finded job in textile company, there is roles that offered by company is Supervisors after training course .
Infrastructure: There were good facility of wi-fi by government college and there was name of wi-fi is namo, There were amazing labs facilities by colleges there were big halls for curriculum activities like sports and experiments there were a of NCC that can give you chance of being soldier or government officer for nation.
Faculty: They were helpful with their subject and they were qualified and they are helping us now for being our sir
There were 10 out of 9.5 percent exams was difficult passing percentage rate of mini exam was 30 marks out 12 that was very risky to case that who cannot understand that subject.

Review of Dr. S. and S.S. Ghandhy College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Placements depend on merit. Students who score 80% of marks are eligible for placements. It also depends on three subjects such as English, Maths, and Science. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Reliance, ITHUB, Spark-Com, etc. Almost 100% of students got internships in companies like Tech Hub, MahekIT Surat, etc. Top roles offered are software developer, website developer, graphic designer, and IT manager.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available such as fans, lights, and air-conditioners. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Computers are available. Internet cables are also available. Classrooms are well-maintained. Linux laboratories and OS laboratories are available. There is a communication hall on our campus. Hostel facilities are great. The food quality is decent. Canteen is not available. Medical facility is available. It also has medical kits, bandages, etc. Sports are conducted such as volleyball, cricket, yoga, chess, carrom, and kho-kho.
Faculty: Teachers have 20 years of experience. All teachers are GPSE-qualified and have master's degrees. The course curriculum is ready to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 37%.
Other: We know the demand for the IT field nowadays. The best thing about this course is computer science and AI. Our college should provide practical knowledge. Fests and events are conducted such as Yoga Day, Software War, etc. Our campus life is great. The connectivity is good. Our campus crowd is very good. Many scholarships, like MYSY, are provided to merit students.

Absolutely the best diploma college in Surat. None can match the teaching qualities of the faculty.
Placements: The highest package offered by L&T was about INR 33,000. About 95% of students go for a degree, so the remaining students go for an internship. In 2023, none opted for an internship; all were looking for a B.Tech. (degree). The minimum package in 2023 was about INR 10,000, because of not having a degree, the salary wasn't too much, but the result was 100%; all students passed with excellent scores.
Infrastructure: In an IT course, the first thing you need is an internet connection. In this college, you will be able to use Wi-Fi all over the campus at every end for free and without any limit. The labs are so clean, with many desktops, that if you don't have a laptop, you can use them for free. Classrooms are cool, with around 28 benches divided into four columns, and teaching is done on projectors. The food quality is also good, and the staff is supportive. You can play volleyball, chess, badminton, etc. and sports week is organized every year, including all sports except football.
Faculty: So while moving towards the teaching qualities, the teachers have passed the government state level examination (class 3) for being a part of this college (in IT). So the quality of teaching is far better than any college in Surat. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant to the industry. All the subjects taught are needed in industries. Exams are not difficult for students studying at this college, as the teaching quality is excellent. The passing percentage is 30–40%.

It is an average college for diploma.
Placements: Our college provided average placements. Few students got placed after completing their diploma. Most students want to pursue a bachelor's degree after a diploma.
Infrastructure: Hostel was average, with good environment. The surrounding of the hostel was jungle-type, especially the girls' hostel. Some students stay in private PGs on their own. There was no mess in the hostel.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in our college had completed bachelor's or master's degrees. Exams were conducted according to the GTU curriculum. Most of the students passed easily, but some students failed. Seminars and expert lectures were conducted for students to gain knowledge.

Hey it depends if you want to pursue a Diploma course or a bachelor's in engineering course for Diploma 10th scores are considered and for BE your 12th standard's score along with JEE, GUJCET are considered ! Admission is merit based!
