B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2025
2.6
Overall, our experience in electronics and communication engineering.
Placements: This year, no student from our electronics and communication engineering (ECE) branch got placed through campus placements. It has been a very disappointing and upsetting time for all of us. Many students worked hard, attended training sessions, and prepared for interviews, but still, no companies offered jobs to anyone from our branch. One big reason is that very few core ECE companies came to our campus. Most of the companies that visited were focused on computer science and IT, and they didn't show much interest in ECE students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay but not too good. Many classrooms are old and lack proper lighting and ventilation. Some of the labs do not have enough working equipment, and students often have to wait or share tools. The hostel and washroom facilities also need a lot of improvement in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. Internet access is slow and sometimes unreliable, which makes it hard for students to study or complete online tasks. Overall, the college should focus.
Faculty: The teaching staff is well trained and they are so good at teaching. Teachers are quite good and supportive. Most of the teachers have strong knowledge of their subjects and explain the concepts clearly. They are friendly, approachable, and always ready to help students with doubts, both during and after class. Many of them also guide students in projects, internships, and exam preparation. Even though the infrastructure and placement may not be the best, the efforts of the faculty.

Faculty: The faculty members at this college are very good. Some of them are kind and friendly, and a little bit of them are strict. When it comes to teaching, they are very qualified and know how to teach students in a way they understand. They have a good curriculum for every event.
Other: Many fests take place in this college, which are actually quite good.

Dissatisfied because of the faculty, and there is no placement.
Placements: No proper placement opportunity. And they try to hire with some other institutions and they teach us, but it applies only to some good people. And before joining they promised me 12LPA salary packages. But now I see there's no placement itself.
Infrastructure: Labs are not proper at all, only when required for some reason they give us other than to practice they don't provide us. Wi-Fi is also not provided to us only some floor Wi-Fi is available and also no proper Internet of ours. I don't know about the hostel because am not a hosteler.
Faculty: Teachers don't know how to explain the concept properly, only some teachers are knowledgeable and good at explanation, and the curriculum is not industry ready please change it and VTU should stop taking fees for everything as we already paid.
Other: No best things about the course only for the namesake.

One Of the Best College In Bangalore.
Placements: Nearly 60% of students in our college are placed every year based on their CGPA. The highest package, as informed by our seniors, is 16 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Top companies include Accenture, Airbus, TCS, and Amazon. More than 90% of students got internships in companies like HAL. Top roles include Aircraft Engine Designer, Flight Engineer, and Airport Manager.
Infrastructure: We have above-average facilities for departmental labs, classrooms, etc. The library provides most of the books needed for our course. The hostel is well-maintained. They provide good food and water facilities, but there are no medical facilities. We have a sports club for various sports activities, and it really engages students in their physical time.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful in clearing our doubts. The quality of teaching is up to mark. Of course, our course curriculum is relevant for most of the students, and the percentage of students getting placed each year proves they are capable and industry-ready. Semester exams are not really that hard, but some subjects in our course, like Aerodynamics, in which students are struggling to get passing marks, may need more attention. The passing percentage is 80 from our batch. Exams will be of 100 marks, in which 36 is the passing mark.
Other: I choose this course because from Childhood, I wad fond of Aeroplanes, Spacecraft's etc. & Was Interested to Know about their Mechanics, Working Principle & More. The Best Thing about our course is that the Syllabus is made in such a way that its easily understandable by students & Gives enough time to Progress it. It would be better if the Subjects like Aerodynamics Thermodynamics is Divided into 2 Semesters as its Hard for students to Study many topics at once. College Gives Freshers Day Each Year. Students are Friendly & Engaged For Studies, Helping etc. The college has a good Surrounding For Sports, Learning and more. Students Gets Scholarship Each year based on their need & Background.

I got good friends with more knowledge .
Placements: 80% of students were placed in our college campus selection. The highest package was 11 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. The recruiting companies are Amazon, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, etc. Code debugging roles are offered in our course and also internships were like 44%.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were good, with nice benches. The labs were good and had upgraded computers with internet connectivity and the hostel had a good mess. But the canteen and ground in the hostel were small and the hostel was 500m away from the college; it is outside the college campus .
Faculty: Teachers are so good with students and highly qualified with good degrees, and the CSE department makes students ready for the industry level and the semester exam was so difficult. 80% was the pass percentage. Internals were also so difficult so that's how they can train students well.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in coding. The CSE department has the best faculty and labs. Fests and events are also conducted well; scholarships were also put in correctly.
